Pros
great place to obtain licensing and gain experience and knowledge and about the markets. also provides huge opportunity to develop relationships within the investment community.
Cons
compensation could be improved, not greatly impacted by individual performance and still relative to peer performance. platform is not up to speed with current technology and is playing "catch-up" with the rest of the market.
Advice to Senior Management
allow transparant communication between bloomberg depts on the bbg system. complete the tradebook offering with PB services and offer a more competitive compensaton package that greatly rewards significant outperformance.
