Former Employee – worked at TRANZACT full-time for more than a year
Pros – Competitive Base Salary. Relatively low investment in license (and in some cases they pay for training for you). Hours are capped at 40 (for non-management). Laid back atmosphere. Very cool people to work with. If you are focused on selling and do not let customers control the call, you can make a high 40s or maybe even 50k. Expectations of more than that are irrealistic.
Cons – Management can at times be disconnected with employee needs. They are a young company and are still figuring out bonus structure, lead sources, financial incentives.
Advice to Senior Management – Focus on your team. If they are happy, you will be happy. Do not tolerate terrible sales numbers simply because people are pleasant and nice. If you have top earners, take care of them. No ass kissing needed, but there seems to be an issue with keeping top talent.

Former Employee – worked at TRANZACT full-time for more than a year
Pros – Flexible schedule, no drugs background check (not that I care, but some people would find it as a benefit). You learn how to sell...
Cons – Bad leads, management has poor work ethic. Training process was the worst experience ever in my life. Top management's experience is selling magazines, not sure if this is ok for the Insurance Business.
Advice to Senior Management – Improve training process, invest more in coaching and change the entire management team.

Former Employee – worked at TRANZACT
Pros – Work environment is fair but very noisy since you are crammed in next to each other with everyone on the phone. Benefits offered are good for the price.
Cons – Poor quality leads. Licensing in enough states is required to get sufficient leads to make the quota they expect. They seem to withhold the best states to those they like and control the flow of leads to those individuals as well. They control the leads you get and therefore the opportunity to even make a sale. Many people think it is a grea place to work until they have been there a few months and see what is going on. Favorites get the most licensing and the new quality leads. They do well while everyone else gets the left over crap.
Advice to Senior Management – Provide a level playing field and stop the favoritism.
