I have been working at TRF full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – 1. Good learning opportunity for entry level engineers
2. Many employees are joining from reputed institutes/companies, so you can have at least few talented persons always around you
3. You keep doing mistakes & learn, nobody will clutch you.
Cons – 1. System required to be improved efficiently. This also leads huge frustration/dissatisfaction.
2. Projects always gets delayed due to poor system at almost all level.
3. Hardly take any action against employee unless you commit serious crime.
4. Outdated work culture/technology & nothing seems possible to change as there is no implementation of creative suggestions, however suggestions are always taken.
Advice to Senior Management – Pls improve system in such a way so that talented young blood do not leave the company in short period.

I have been working at TRF full-time for less than a year
Pros – a few good men - new platform (for me) to work on, scope to do something new, scope to learn new things, etc.
Cons – bad management, bad and non-cooperative employees, no system, stone-age theory and system, no intension of forwarding, negative approach to development and man management or theory, suppressing attitude to the employees who want to do something good, controlled mainly by few very mean minded, pessimistic persons - uncontrolled by top management
Advice to Senior Management – remove some of your bad employees - follow whatever world is doing today, stop those nonsense who trying to hold the stone-age system - nobody in unsparable, give chance to new bloods, old is always not gold ....

I have been working at TRF
Pros – Relaxed work environment, employee friendly management and good work-life balance. Being a TATA group it also adds to the brand name.
Cons – Opportunities of growth are limited and so is the scope to learn. Pay is below par compared to market standards and performance of the company is dis satisfactory.
Advice to Senior Management – They should run the setup a little more professionally, enrich the knowledge level and skills of its employees through training, knowledge sharing etc and pave the way to grow more aggressively
