I worked at TSMC (less than a year)

    Pros

They have one of the highest pays in Taiwan for the semiconductor industry. It is also an internationally known company, so workers can lean a lot about the newest technology trends.

    Cons

With high pay, the workload is not light. It might be necessary to work overtime to get things finished. However, this is how life is in Asia, and generally this has a high CP value in terms of worker benefits.

I have been working at TSMC full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

The following are the good part I feel about the company.
For the spend rate in TW, 100k USD is a lot here.

    No lay off
    Good pay
    Advance technology
    Diverse Works

    Cons

The work load is very heavy and also very tough, and of course, it is exciting as well.
However, you won't have personal life here. That is the problem.

In the upper management part, here is very politic. Upper managers changed all the time.

    Heavy work load
    very politic
