Pros
Free food nice friends, You get put in your place as a fast food pimp.
Cons
You get those demanding customers
Advice to Senior Management
move faster
Pros
Fun environment
Great support if you have a great Area Coach
Great rewards if store is high-performing
Great pay if you work hard(management wise)
Cons
Very short-handed sometimes
Too many requirements to fire people
Too much drama which is often started by management
Stressful and high paced environment
Advice to Senior Management
Listen and support your management team
Provide accurate feedback to management and team members
Eliminate people who are underperforming regardless of tenure with company
Pros
It was an easy enough job to do, and the hours are flexible.
Cons
always expected to do everyone else's job along with your own, useless training, and either you're over staffed and you don't get enough hours or under staffed and you're worked to death, never in between
Advice to Senior Management
provide some more training to the people in charge.
Pros
fun team members to be around, flexible schedule for time off. you can advance if you are motivated, but don't expect a raise until you 'prove' you can do the job(however long that may be).
Cons
Long hours, will take you several years of hard work to start making decent money. Most shift leaders make only a 1-1.50 over min. wage. with no benefits. once you are in upper management you can expect daily calls drilling you about any area you were not successful in the previous day.
Advice to Senior Management
visit the store yourself. there are so many hard working people who do a good job, but you just listen to the area coach who gives you false information.
Pros
Loved the food and working there you can modify the food as much as you want during break. If you're friendly with the workers, you can get the food for free.
Cons
They say one of the perks is a flexible working hours that's perfect for students, but that is a lie. When I worked there during high school, I had to fight with my manager for some time off when I needed it for school activities. Also during the interviews, the manager told me that the food is free for lunch up to $5 which is good enough. But when I started working there, I only got 10% off my food.
Advice to Senior Management
Try to give us workers what you actually promised to give us. Also open up your workers to some advancements. I've seen people work there for six years and are still earning close to minimum wage while working back breaking hours.
Pros
Ability for very flexible hours. Easy to talk with management about concerns or questions. Recognition for going above and beyond.
Cons
Poor compensation for the amount of work. Little opportunity for raises or advancement. Fluctuating amount of hours given to employees.
Advice to Senior Management
Better compensation and hours for your employees
Pros
Flexible schedule, good people to work with, fun environment.
Cons
Hours can be long. Upper mgmt needs to listen to RGMs more.
Advice to Senior Management
Get more feedback from field employees. LTOs need more creativity.
Pros
The hours and schedules are flexible.
Cons
Not the best environment working with food.
Advice to Senior Management
Promote people that will best deal with everyday situations.
Pros
You learn experience in food and you advance quickly.
Cons
you dont get that many vacation hours.
Advice to Senior Management
Try alot harder as if you were a starting employee.
Pros
My store manager was a great guy. He was understanding and fun to work with. The company values in theory really concentrated on pleasing the customer. And for the most part the other crew members were fun to work with.
Cons
The shift leaders that I worked with were mostly older lifers and I feel that they were bitter toward the rest of the crew members who were only there while they were going to college.
Even though I trained new employees I never got the title of trainer or a pay increase for it.
Advice to Senior Management
Find shift leaders who are as great as the managers. Review tapes of night crew (gross). Supply employees with knowledge on how to advance.
