An absolute Waste - this is just a Body Shopping Company

    Sales Personal (Former Employee)
    New York, NY

ProsNothing really!! Pathetic people (especially HR & finance), pathetic work culture, a CEO (Con Executive Officer). Once can't be more unlucky to be a part of this so called Company.

ConsSo many - they run in a body shopping mode, try to suck every penny from their consultants, don't pay anything but get the max out of the people. No growth directional orientation. It is not even 300 people company but claims to be around 1500 people. God Save this company from genuine and honest auditors... Good people have already left this company because of the politics played by the CEO

Advice to Senior ManagementMr. CEO - Please be a human first and start applying your brain someday as you can't ride on sheer luck and acquisitions... You are just lucky to be a CEO of any company...

Worst Company... Money is the Value

    Consultant (Former Employee)
    Phoenix, AZ

ProsBeing consultant in this company is not a bad option. Otherwise there is nothing good about this company.

ConsCan write a book. CEO of the company can be proudly rated as the worst in this universe. Seeing him you can say that some people are extremely lucky to be the CEO of the company. Too political, bad practices like taking money from people to file their Green Cards, run their dummy payrolls for their H1 status. Waiting to be out of this system, but simply helpless.

Management's motto is to kill employees's careers -

    Sales Director (Former Employee)
    Princeton, NJ

ProsIt used to be good about 1 year back. Not any more -
It is a good place to hang around, if you don't really care about your career. But, you will soon be irrelevant in the industry.

ConsBad morale. Generally speaking, the management pushes the sales team to misrepresent the company's capabilities and never support the teams to build capabilities.
Very rigid setup for a small company. Management teams are control freaks and insecure. Lots of unethical practices.

Advice to Senior ManagementCEO, Please don't take employees for granted. They are not your slaves or servants or magicians. As sales directors, we can sell what is available and not constantly sell something every other week, unbaked. And we need to make commissions. Please don't change comp plans when you feel like and more so after the sale is closed. Constantly taking accounts from performers, after we proved is unjust. Stop playing games with your employees' careers. Stop misguiding them.
Start to accept who you are and represent to clients what you can deliver. At present, you are not being true to your employees, clients and investors.

    Better Consultancy Company

    Senior .NET Consultant (Current Employee)

    Pros1. Dedicated Consultant Marketing Team
    2. Pays Salary on Time
    3. Good Management
    4. Listens to employee concerns
    5. Responds well to Immigration helps.

Cons1. Needs to push harder to get done something
    2. Come-up with new ways to hold part of your pay check.
    3. No Growth.
    4. Never reviews work done by consultants.
    5. Never care about consultants growth. As long has he/she has a project and yields the company's percentile of cash, they are happy.
    6. GC, done at your cost.
    7. Poor HR manager who thinks no employee should have complaints. Wont answer the phone, never reply for email.

Advice to Senior ManagementConsultants who work offsite are also full time employees. Listen to them. Dont treat them as some ATM machine. And that HR manager, we want you to listen to our problem and solve it. not absconding from listening.

    Not Worth it

    (Former Employee)
    Austin, TX

Pros- Telecommuting option available for certain jobs
    - There are some talented people working here who are to great with
    - Better than consulting firm
    - Opportunity to work in some of the latest technologies

Cons- First of all the company name keeps changing every few days, its ClearOrbit sometimes, Take Supply Chain and sometimes Take Solutions.
    - This is a mid size company. Normally such companies tend to have good qualities of both large corporations and small companies. But Take is an exception. It is a mixture of bad qualities found in large corporations and small companies
    - No hikes and promotions for nearly 4 years, company-wide.
    - Benefits are getting worse every year.
    - HR is incompetent and do not care about employee welfare or maybe their hands are tied with low budgets and senior management pressure
    - Management is unprofessional in their behavior. Employees are let go when they are on vacation. The company has ageist practices and senior people who have worked in the company for years are let go without any warning
    - Jobs are outsourced to Chennai, India, sooner or later
    - No cultural diversity. Most people working here are from Chennai, India
    - Employees are forced to relocate on a shoe - string budget. Relocation is not provided for family even if the relocation is forced on the employee.
    - Management is terrible in their communication. Management does not talk to or listen to employees

Advice to Senior Management- Listen to your customers. Listen to your employees At least pretend to care
    - A software company is not run by machines.
    - Spend some money for the right software tools. Have some respect for what others have done in the software fraternity.
