Pros

The employees are very friendly, and the overall work environment is great. There are many opportunities to take on new projects, get training, and even change jobs. Communication is excellent at all levels.

Cons

Small tasks are over-managed. Validation is an absolute nightmare. Upper management is very quick to say no to any requests, so a lot of work either goes undone or gets done under the radar. IS management talks about leveraging synergy way too much.

Advice to Senior Management

Encourage specialization. Don't expect everyone to be able to do everything for every project.
