    Pros

Open to opportunities. More clients to come.

    Cons

Current Employee - Consultant in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia)

I have been working at Talent2 full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

No considerable Pros in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is located in the City Center and most visitors are willing to travel to this location.

    Cons

    a) Promotions are not granted to those deserving.
    b) Promotions are granted to those who do not meet targets. Management team is set based on colour preference, great deal of racism even though review from former employers are bad.
    c) Obvious bias treatment given to individuals. Decisions made are unprofessional and not based on factual grounds.
    d) Constant mistreatment by the management team to subordinates using inappropriate remarks and sarcasm.
    e) Placements and revenue generated are not appreciated and KPI's are constantly highlighted and counted against consultant during reviews.
     f) Management team fears consultant achievements and is ready to look for reasons to discredit the individuals including non-consultants whenever they out shine.
    Advice to Management
KPI's should be counted as guideline to achieve targets but consultants should not be dismissed even though they are able to bill and make placements above and beyond the management team.

The decision for new management is appreciated and we eagerly wait for major changes.

    I worked at Talent2 full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

-Good opportunity to grow (if you know how to spot opportunities).

    Cons

-Lack of direction by the Senior management
    -Continuous re-Organization.
-High Attrition rate with lack of plans on retaining the knowledge.
-Lack of training plan to up-skill their employee. Training need analysis does not meet the bar set by operations.
-Lack of qualified leaders manning their Asia Pacific payroll. They have hired experts in copy pasting email contents and forwarding them to their recipients without even analyzing what was required for them to do.
-Most of time are devoted to completing ad hoc tasks which are not even payroll related. Redundant checks and process wastes are the main bulk of your day to day activity.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Do not profit from your employee's miseries - this is a bad business model.

    I worked at Talent2 full-time

    Pros

Talent2 has a great brand in the market which opens a lot of doors for you. It is very easy to book appointments and people generally want to see you. The office and the technology was modern and clean.

    Cons

It was a little like returning to high school. Large office with lots of disparate groups. Popular kids in one corner, nerds in another. The managers, like teachers kept things very separate and didn't fraternise with "the workers". Very hierarchical set up. Lacked any cohesion between business units. In fact the RPO business and the People businesses were completely at war with one and other.

State GM was a petty tyrant but she left to Hudson and the new guy is terrific.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get the businesses to work together.

    I worked at Talent2 full-time

    Pros

The CBD office is in a good location, the support staff are a lovely bunch of girls and the salary was decent.

If you're a fashionable, thin girl who enjoys whispering about your work colleagues then this is the environment for you. If you're an admin worker who enjoys being worked to the bone, who gets no recognition whatsoever and who loves being taken for granted, then apply immediately!!

    Cons

There is a massive divide between recruiters & admin staff and as a product of this, the double standards are very apparent & unfair. The admins are treated like servants, and do not receive any recognition for their work, not do they receive any rewards/benefits unlike the recruiters. The NSW GM strongly condones bullying in the workplace, and every discipline manager has favourites. There is almost a gang mentality in some of the teams, and if you don't fit in their mould, you will be talked about and they will even make up lies to get you in trouble. They have a terrible complaint handling process re bullying - the HR team is in Brisbane and don't really sound like they care much. My telephone exit interview was basically me explaining my bullying complaint & the HR Manager making excuses for each of my reasons.

They don't care, and nothing will ever change. In my time, at least 6 people I knew left the company after making bullying complaints - to this day, nothing has happened about this, and nothing will.

FairWork NSW would have a field day with Talent2. That is of course if T2 HR staff haven't shredded all the bullying complaints, which I can honestly see them doing.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Treat your staff equally, stop the bullying, your managers need to start acting their age instead of living in their high school days.

I have been working at Talent2 full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Talent2 is a company run and staffed by grossly incompetent, arrogant, cut throat cheats who are nothing but pimps with girls in a nice office and a flashy website. These people are worst than the worst prostitutes on the street beware of dealing with this company they will sell you out for a song. They placed into a horrible company and at the end I was a psychological wreck they had no mercy whatsoever.

    Cons

Do not deal with Talent2 for a permanent or contracting role especially in Australia these people are prostitutes in disguise they are cut throat robbers grossly deceptive and mislead you to place into a role into company of psychopaths. If you want to be placed by Talent2 your career is doomed. Dealing with them is akin to sleeping with a murderer they will do anything for money they have no values or respect. They should have been pimps in some third world country but somehow happen to be in the recruiting business

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Just shut this damn company and quietly go out of business

    Cons

    I worked at Talent2 full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

That many of the senior team in the Middle East have left over the last three years.

    Cons

Management ambition that wasn't matched with the skills to achieve them.

For a company focused on sourcing high performing talent for its clients, it was breathtaking to watch T2 hire and support many of its senior leaders in the Middle East who failed their staff and generated poor results for shareholders consistently. With one notable exception of a (singular) high performing & ethical country GM, the lack of integrity and leadership acumen regionally was profound.

A culture of mistrust, lies and deception was created and sustained for the years that I was employed. Illegal employment practices that went against the laws of not just one country, but several in the Middle East was what I encountered when I commenced employment with T2.

Whilst many of the personnel across the region worked hard to build the business, a lack of support from corporate and poor leadership within the region resulted in the business not realizing its potential in a region awash with opportunity.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

With T2's reputation damaged and a jaded view from its current clients, it would require a significant and sustained commitment by corporate to grow the business in the GCC.

Given past performance in this respect by HQ (read indifference), I doubt much will change in the short to medium term. Others have grabbed market share and are doing well, i.e. Kenexa.
