I worked at Talenthouse as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

Good work/life balance. Young company. Got to write blog posts with my name published, so that was kind of cool.

    Cons

As an intern I did not necessarily learn much, just got told to do jobs no one else wanted. Have a day or two to really sit down and show the ropes.

I never got paid for my transport as an intern though I have asked on multiple occasions.

I worked at Talenthouse full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

The concept of the company is fantastic - helping artists (of all skill levels and verticals) to participate in big-name campaigns. Talenthouse serves as the essential middle ground for artists to boost their visibility and to gain unique, monetary opportunities.

    Cons

    Poor management.
    Directionless.
Toxic company culture, at least in the Los Angeles office.
Turn-over too high; switching employees every month will not solve the greater issues at hand.
    Financial Mismanagement.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Invest in your employees.
Focus on building a more positive company culture that mirrors the company's mission of openness, creativity, & respect.
Listen to your users to help drive product and to enhance user experience.
