    Pros

A lot to learn if you really want to (that's obvious)
    Flexible timing (team specific)

    Cons

    Not much for C++ developer
.Net developers have a wired sadness. Could not figure out why.

    Advice to Management

Invest to make it a cool place to work.

    Pros

I was working in this organisation for more than a 4 years and trust me m still in stone age when it comes to career growth. Pathetic working environment with horrible management, when it comes to hiring people they take more than 5 rounds(equal to Microsoft) but they never hire that person. I have interviewed many candidates but only the rejected candidate have been selected(that is quite interesting). People who don't have hope in IT industries can apply cos if u r rejected then there is a chance of getting job here. When it comes to layoff then the deserved candidates will be thrown out and the reserved candidates survives. Most of the HR people don't know the HR policies, they think that organizing events and creating fun environment in the office is the only job of HR. Organisation structure changes almost every month.

    Cons

Biggest challenge working in this company is getting used to the Bucket model(Important model other than Waterfall or V-model). I know this is bit confusing but yes this is the fact in this organisation. Employee should be skillful enough to deal with his manager and be on the safer side enough though if he don't know the work or not is secondary.

    Advice to Management

    Hello Management folks,
Tym to wake up and see whats happening in the office

    Pros

Exceptional work culture and great team.
    Beautiful office.
Good number of activities and events to maintain employee moral
    Good work life balance.
    Good opportunities to travel
Good challenging work exposure and end to end visibility

    Cons

Frequent changes in leadership, and with change in leadership frequent changes in modus operandi as everyone comes with their own vision to operate.

    Advice to Management

Don't try to imitate practices from service based organisations, they seldom work for a product based company.
Value and retain experienced people who have given year to the organisation

    Pros

Being the first company, as soon as coming out of the college, it was totally a different experience. I did not know how an IT company works. Thanks to HR department, especially our initial manager XXXX, who guided us in the right manner, making us fit into the IT environment. We had trainings under all the departments for apprx 4 months, which made us understand the organization better so that we would fit into any department once our training was over.
These 5 months in the organization was in class by itself, I like the energy with which people work here, especially our Managing Director Mr. Rajendra CM. His motivation drives energy into each and everyone in the organization. It’s my privilege to be a part of Talisma, and I look forward to contribute the best of my ability for the company’s growth.

    Pros

It was hilarious to see this post ""
“Great place to work!! ”'""by some solutions Architect. There is no one like this FYI. This is posted by the management itself and not any employee of the company. This is done to back fill the positions post the appraisal effect. Ridiculous. This is not at all true...Please do not go by such reviews. One should judge by majority of the reviews posted here before even considering an interview call from here. So please don't waste or invest your time in joining here. Joining here will ruin your career. There are other product software companies which are successful. so look for such greener pastures which have a very positive outlook.

    Cons

Its not a good company to serve as it does add any value to your profile. You have nothing new to learn from the leaders here as they have a hopeless group sitting there medium and long term. They are recognized because there is awards plan which was an initiative by the HR. So they had to simply pick people for this in order to implement this plan. All new gimmicks. This is a very honest advice. Do not waste your precious time and effort working here.

    Advice to Management

No advice to the management as they think they are doing excellent . Fact is, It has a hopeless management and lousy and inexperienced HRD. They are good for nothing....only open and cross connected romance in office and they have a tail gated hr who is a puppet. This review should be an eye opener for the Campus Management Corporation. CMC, you can find better companies out here

    Pros

Unfortunately do not have any, if you are not getting any job then only join talisma.

    Cons

    Unprofessional HR head and team.
No salary standard, once you hired you will find even less experienced are getting more money. Lack of exposure in India makes it not suitable for people outside bangalore. Support is pathetic, no proper knowledge transfer, reason why it is loosing in common market. Dominance of bangalore people make it not suitable for north Indians. Heavy, unhealthy and non friendly environment.

    Advice to Management

Bring new brains from across India. Ask old guards to move ahead. Plan proper client engagement to save on loosing clients. Improve product and make it mobile/tablet application based and not browser based. Identify and fire the clique.

    Pros

Good learning if you are put on right projects. Good culture and work environment. Lot of IJPs available, you can change your domain if interested.

    Cons

No onsite options except Managers. Lengthy work hours if you are into Development projects.

    Advice to Management

Compensation should be fare enough for all employees. Otherwise people cannot stick for the company for many years.
