    Not bad experience

    Senior Software Engineer (Former Employee)
    Bangalore (India)

ProsGood company with a good Product in the past before Campus Management acquired Talisma. Once Campus Management are in, Talisma CRM has no value. Only Campus Campus Campus.

ConsI didn't find any challenges in this Company as such.

Advice to Senior ManagementAlways Support team is highlighted. Because MD of this Company was from Support team. Please look at Development team because without Development/Testing teams, what is the use of Support team?

Self Centered Narrow Minded Culture @ Bangalore CVL Office

    Senior Solution Analyst (Current Employee)
    Bangalore (India)

ProsNo Micro Management, Good product, Some good project managers (All these Pros for the HE Team @ CVL),

ConsFavoritism, sycophants (recruited by SS in 2013 and early 2014) have got opportunities thus overlooking certain existing and/or proven resources thus affecting the MORAL of proven old timers, No Training Plan or Knowledge sharing sessions, very few approachable product experts, Gossip mongers all around thus causing an unhealthy working atmosphere, complicated or badly affected projects are assigned to product novices or less experienced, overseas projects are assigned to sycophants and the few experienced thus not following a rotational policy.

Advice to Senior ManagementTo Managers in Higher Education Professional Services team, Please invite team members for healthy and proactive discussions on knowledge sharing from product implementation experiences. This will help everybody to get to know each other and also to identify right resources in times of crisis. None are willing to impart knowledge when it comes to mentoring or cross training as there is no proper training plan in place. (I think this request is unanswered since ages).

Mr.Raj, MD, Talisma: Please do not encourage recruitment of candidates by Vice-Presidents without a formal interview process in place. Certain recruitment's to HE Professional Services since Jan 2013 and until April 2014 did not follow formal interview process thus providing an unfair advantage to these new folks compared to people recruited via formal interview process.

India HR team looks most helpless as they blindly follow orders from the Heads without incorporating feedback from employees who quit. Just pathetic !!

Good Intent, products but lack of direction

    (Not to Mention) (Current Employee)
    Bangalore (India)

ProsAs a co. its good in terms of remuneration, friendly culture. People within are good.

ConsAt times due to lack of direction, process, vision, decision and knowledge many of the good work are not taken to finalization.
Management is concerned about statistics, but there are no retrospection, you might see the same issues being repeated.
Majorly its a firefighting on a day to day basis.
Its good for people who are quite fresh in the industry to learn stuff.

Advice to Senior ManagementLittle focus on knowledge of what is to be done, little direction could make a lot of difference.

    Worst culture no professional ethics

    Software Engineer (Current Employee)
    Bangalore (India)

ProsThere is no pros to work, because uour getting salary so your working.here work culture kills the employee enthusiasm to learn any thing...

ConsWork culture is worst, there is no planing at all for any sprints... they wont see the productivity of the work, they only watch how many hours you spent in office. management feels proud for stretching work hours for late nights and working every weekend through out the year ..they consider it has good work culture but they never try for proper planing. they says they follow agile work culture actually they dont follows any standard process they will find the requirement in testing stage , usually after requirement analysis, designing ,development, testing follows but here requirment and design( architecture pf product done at testing stage...due to this they never delivery the product on time .their basic funda to delivery the product on time is over load the employees with late night and weekend work...and they feel proud to work that way. but never do proper planing for any releases

Advice to Senior ManagementNo Manager has good managerial skills. over loading the employee with work ,they feel great work culture. technically or professionally there is nothing to learn. even though you dont have any technical skills if you know buttering ur manager you can live happily with good rating..they never look at the productivity of work for rating their employees work. they says they fallow agile work culture actually they dont follows any standard process,. They says ISO standard company but they dont maintain ISO standards
