Current Employee – been working at Tara Energy
Pros – Tara Energy was a startup in the retail energy business with a potential for growth and do all that you would expect. With the smaller group of employees you had all the opportunity to create, innovate, and improve on business practice and processes. You have independence to work and manage unless you are a service level employee. Each group is managed from middle level management as individual/independent and group dynamics vary across organization.
Cons – Too many cooks, no clear management styles. No clear leadership/management track for employees looking for professional or career growth except if you are in marketing or sales. Waste and mismanagement of resources both material and human. Lack of communication and clear direction when employing company directives or operation and service level decisions.
Advice to Senior Management – Choose a path, communicate and be truthful and not secretive of company directive and direction. It will help improving working environment and also allow better implementation of the company objectives.
