    Pros

Fun and friendly people to work with. Work schedule is pretty flexible to fit other things into your lifestyle. Growth opportunities.

    Cons

Certain positions hours fluctuates during certain times parts of the year.

    Advice to Management

About a good 85-90 % of the team leads to execs are great all around people. The rest need to learn how to speak to people instead of taking this job too serious thinking that they're superior in any way than the team members. Increase hours !!

    Pros

    -Team Members are friendly
-Guests are also friendly, and work avails you endless opportunities to deal with a range of personalities
    -Work can feel rewarding
-Company culture allows for perks (i.e. free snacks/meals, movie days, etc.)
    -Employee discount
-Opportunities to cross-train in other departments, develop a varied skill set

    Cons

-Too much pressure on "selling" company cards to guests. Especially after a data breach. You've already turned away many guests on that one, so unless you have a way to improve the perks/benefits, most aren't going to be swimming back.
-Having multiple skill sets can be a disadvantage, as there are expectations to suddenly switch jobs mid-shift if a department is understaffed
-Changing your availability after being immediately hired is nonexistent, and HR takes an incredibly hands-off approach to it.

    Advice to Management

Value your employees more by being flexible with their schedules. Compensate them a bit more, and give them more incentive to "sell" than a gift card or pieing a supervisor in the face once in a while.

    Pros

10% Discount on merchandise in the store.
The fellow employees were helpful in showing new employees where things are and what they do.

    Cons

    Unrealistic Expectations
    No Leadership
No proactive attempts at solving problems
No one listens to working ideas

    Advice to Management

Listen to the workers who provide you with money

    Pros

The pay is better than most places in NYC. Lower management gets treated the same as you do so you actually become pretty good friends.

    Cons

The upper management of the store tends to overlook your department the most. The only time you will probably see them is when they want to purchase something.

  11. Solid Work experience

    Pros

Solid work environment, the staff become like your family. If you really want to rise in retail this is the perfect opportunity

    Cons

Management was all about making the customer happy. If a customer lashed out at you for following company policy the manager would always undermine you, take the customer's side just to make a sale.

    Advice to Management

give employees more support, give employees benefits, higher pay rate and overtime eligibility
