    Pros

I loved working at Target, I was an ETL-HR and previous to that was an ETL-AP, they really focus on your development and compensation is competitive.

    Cons

The downside is working 60+ hours a week and not having nights, weekends, or holidays but that's retail for you.

    Advice to Management

I loved all of my STLs I worked for, they took the time to listen to my concerns, they asked for feedback, and they challenged me.

    Pros

Truly care about the team members. Makes it a fun light environment to collaborate and get tasks done. Open to letting you drive the project and teach you along the way.

    Cons

Retail hours are always terrible. If you are open to nights and weekends then it would be a good fit.

    Advice to Management

When given opportunity for a project, if the employee succeeds be sure to make a note of it for advancement in the future.

I have been working at Target full-time

    Pros

Target is a great place to work with lots of opportunities for advancement, great core ideals, and an awesome work environment.

    Cons

There is a lot of politics that go into advancing your career with this company. And sometimes you have to wait for one of the politicians to leave before you can advance.

    Advice to Management

Work harder at making things more even amongst team members. Train everyone, not just a select few. Offer everyone the opportunity to learn.
