I have been working at Tata Consultancy Services full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Unlimited learning opportunities. Can grow along with the company along with your skills growing.

    Cons

Goal & self evaluation process doesn't work. Even though there is a defined system & process, it is still performed by a human. So appraisal cycle is still subject to what management decides, irrespective of how good an individual will perform

I worked at Tata Consultancy Services full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

If you are lucky you may work for several clients.

    Cons

Salary is very less compared to the market. Very little or no salary increase annually. HR takes weeks to respond to queries. HR won't give anything in writing. A lot of time and followups are require to get any response from the management/HR/Admin Department. No overtime compensation, if you don't work overtime your annual PA is bad. Once you are stuck with a project, you cannot get out of a project unless you quit or the project ends. Tough to get approval for vacactions.

    Advice to Management

Make the HR accountable for no action or delayed action. Improve your work policies.
