Pros
Work life balance,employee benefits are good.
Cons
less opportunity to learn and grow. very slow career progression.Senior managers are ok but middle managers a big head ache.
Advice to Senior Management
Provide a meaning full work to new joiners. encourage them instead of discouraging. provide them an opportunity to show case their talent.

It is a great brand to be associated with but not a very great place to work. It is no doubt the best service based IT company in India when compared to Infosys and Wipro but there are other MNC's which are better than TCS. The quality of work entirely depends on the Project you are working on and doesn't say how the company is. Overall a good place to join after you have learned the work.
Cons
Some projects which are entirely support ones does not give much room to enhance the skills and growth professionally.
Advice to Senior Management
The appraisal should be a two way process where in the appraisee should have the right to appraise his/her appraiser.
Pros
Usually, there is good exposure to good clients. In general the employees are good human beings, I have a lot of good friends from work.
Cons
Compensation is on the lower side of the spectrum compared to other competitors. Employee performance management is something that can be improved on.

Employee performance management and appraisal process has to be improved. This is a major source of dissatisfaction for current employees.

A Regular appreciation is a must to motivate the employee. Bonus to the achievers is a motivator too.
