    Pros

    -No bond agreement.
    -No uniform.
-Recreation Room(table tennis) for stress busting.

    Cons

-Messed up code base; very little coding etiquette followed.
-No future road-map, messed up process.
-Cost cutting in everything sometimes goes overboard.
    -Slow internet.
    -Low Salary.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Do not recruit from good colleges. You just need average people. Assigning endless, monotonous dumb work in the name of challenging tasks is just not acceptable. There is no 'code-jam' like work in actual. Credit snatchers are rewarded and doers are neglected.

    Pros

10 best of the many things I like about Tavisca -

    1. A good, strong and reasonable hiring process.

    2. The process of transforming freshly hired graduates to IT professionals in a relaxed yet quick span of time.

    3. Most of the people around here are skillful and unique in some sense.

    4. You get a sense of autonomy and authority while working.

    5. A perfect work/life balance. (Against many previous reviews. It totally depends on you, how you manage your time here. Management never forces anything.)

    6. A stress-free and technically healthy environment to work.

    7. A "keep ém happy" approach of management towards the employees.

    8. Fun and recreational activities, outings, and Food!! (Plenty of it ;) )

    9. Transparent policies, approachable higher management.

    10. A very welcome approach to creativity and entrepreneurial minds!

    Cons

Some things which need attention or a different approach -

    1. Rate of growth (Needs to accelerate rather than speed-up. Efforts being made in the same direction as of now)

    2. Innovation / Research projects (There are many challenges in the travel industry to solve. Tavisca sincerely needs a strong R&D team...)

    3. Haphazard attempts at growing as an organisation (Some tough decisions being made in the recent times to grow the organisation quantitatively, might result in the overall loss of core values - Again, the management is capable enough to tackle such a situation and they continuously thrive to do so)

    4. Employee retention capabilities.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Apart from the ones mentioned in Cons, resource allocation and rotation could be made better.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't recruit from good colleges. What you really need are average guys. There is no code-jam typeof work in actual.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Do check how satisfied your current new employees are. Your previous employees might be the best, but don't let them make judgement on their juniors. No facility to send in suggestions anonymously.

Current Employee - Business Analyst in Pune (India)

    Pros

    - People - Very honest, friendly, helpful, no politics/non-sense,
    - Culture - Flat hierarchy redefined... truly so! Employee-friendly overdose!! Haven't seen more pampering, Transparency not just about work but about everything that is happening in the company
    - Very accommodating/understanding and hence offers great personal-professional life balance
    - Fun is always around the corner. Not just HR but here people take pride and show passion to have fun and organize events/outings...
    - Vibrant - very young and hence there is never a dull moment

    Cons

Focus keeps changing very frequently on multiple things. This is a part of growing up and is very understandable.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

To have achieved this, is very commendable. The culture and people is the biggest asset Tavisca has. I hope it never changes!

Must create more replicas of the key players in management for multiple reasons:
1- Delegate and educate so well that you become redundant! That will be your true success
2- People feel well aware and a sense of growing and learning all the time

    Pros

Good for freshers who want to work with latest technology.
Good work culture with a rather flat organization structure where accessibility is not an issue.

    Cons

If you want to do something the company might give full support.

Former Employee - NONE in Pune (India)

    Pros

    1) Top-of-the-line infrastructure
    2) Employee benefits (breakfast, lunch, tea, team-outings, company outings)
    3) Dedicated & vested management (CXOs / Founders)
    4) Open-floor addresses from management to employees

    Cons

    1) Lots of technical problems with the products. Products are ambitious, not realistic.
    2) Company with 150+ employees with a sales force of 5
    3) They say that they have open-door / transparent policies in the company, but I'm not so sure. When I went to the HR with a grievance about my immediate manager (which is the due process in such a case), I was fired in the subsequent week. In a nutshell, that's how they deal with employee grievances when it comes to management.

    Pros

Agile methodology is followed. Flat hierarchy is one the principles. There are no cubicles. The working hours are flexible. You can choose your working schedule. you can take a break and call for a short meeting among your colleges at any given time. You have access to higher management authority to have your say.

    Cons

there are not many relocation options as it is completely pune based company. The employees can be sent on-site to other client companies though.
