    Good work life ... Facilities like Swimming pool and other games are only the best.

    Pros

    Thanks to Satyam , tech m now has some magnificent campuses and good projects at Hyderabad, Chennai and Bengaluru.

    Otherwise waste manual testing projects at Noida location.

    Cons

    Weird policies.
    Worst salary structure.
    No hikes.
    Not employee friendly at all.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Atleast maintain some standard if you claim to be 5th largest software company of India.
    Runs like a sarkari oraganization , no wonder chairman is an ex IAS :P.

    Pros

    If have not done anything important in your life, then this the company you can use as stepping stone. This company does have only one good thing, it is open for taking big bets on your confidence level..

    Cons

    Poor back-office support is pulling back productivity of most of the employees. You end up spending 40% of your time chasing people for getting support for resolving your issues with desktop/laptop/network/procurement/HR/finance/salary etc.. All of the back-office group behaves like king.

    Arrogant management.. poor coordination among different groups

    grow up and hire a better CEO...

    Pros

    Company gives opportunity of placement to mediocre and below average graduates but seriously not good for hard working technically minds.

    Cons

    Pathetic pay. Lowest paying IT Company of large scale.After joining the company, the pay increases on an average rate of 2000 rupees per month on yearly basis (unless you are very lucky or did something exceptional that brought immense profit to the company)
    Lesser growth in comparison to Other Huge IT companies.
    I have seen extremely hardworking people get least salary and grades.

    Pros

    Absolutely no pros. If you are working in this company , you are obviously not good at what you do . This company is more like a stop gap for people who come from small startup like companies . Companies like CTS , TCS ,Infosys are far better in every single imaginable way.

    Cons

    Worst company to work for. Company has generated huge profits every quarter over the past several year but the upper management doesn't even have the decency to share it with its employees (who in fact are the actual reasons why such profits were generated in the first place) .Appraisal for a full whole year was not provided. Instead of sharing the profits , more cutbacks were done . Right now, there are almost zero allowances.

    CP Gurnani should stop begging the employees to follow him on twitter and read his pathetic blog . He should in fact focus on the welfare of his employees instead. He is definitely not role model material . No employee of tech mahindra is interested in his motivational/philosophical non-sense . He is definitely not a LEADER!

    Pros

    Good for freshers.
    Gives them a scope and a feel of working in big MNC.

    Cons

    Compensation- Varying cycle. When i joined the organization the Increments were in effect from July. Although you would usually get letters in September or October and you would paid the difference later. In 2013, it was informed in August that through Media Houses that the increment would be in effect from January, eating up increments of 6 months more. One would expect that this would lead management to give better hike but that is simply what 1 would expect. This is all while Tech Mahindra is daily surpassing new highs both in terms of business and share market and as many of my fellow Ex-TechMighty know that this isn't a win for employee. Promotions are questionable and reward policies seems to be a rotational policy most of the time. This year company has changed their Apprisal Cycle from October -September and increments in effect from January every year onward. Management policies keep on changing. On one side they sing song of alternate thinking n ideas n RISE Culture but when it comes to implementation they have to simply follow the same industry standard where-in industry standard means any means wherein earning of Company increases and in most cases at cost of Employees. Very Employee unfriendly company. I had waited huge amount of time to get out of the company and when the day arrived i didn't feel any regrets.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Management should be more Employee Friendly and not just reiterate those words. They should worry about their high Attrition Ration which I clearly remember CEO CP Gurnani mentioning as not of much concern (Attrition Rate at that time: 19% Approx). You guys didn't even feel to inform your employees first before informing such things to market. Open up, empower your employees and believe in them.

    Pros

    Don't join this company at all, forget to work here. This is for freshers and experienced. If freshers join, then don't work more than 2 years in this company.

    Cons

    No work satisfaction, lack of proper management,leadership, lead ask juniors to face the client when escalations done. leader ship is only interested to take the credits when proper execution of projects take place but runs from responsibility in case of trouble and expose juniors in front of client and run away. TechM management never protect their employee. also no job security is here in this company. employee value zero (rather negative), they have zero bench policy period for which is just 4 weeks. that means if u sit on bench for 4 weeks, direct termination after that, Also many ladies were terminated immediately or were not taken back to work after returning from maternity leaves.

    higher management and HR people are bastards in this company. worst level of politics is played and appraisal ratings are changed in round table discussion of higher management. I observed rating given by manager was different and in actual after final result it was different and answer of manager or IDU head is that it has come from HR, I gave different rating. IDU head also have no value in the company. Its one man show company run by HR and corporate head and his team.. No advice to be given to the management of this company as its a gone case management. I worked in thsi company for 6 years, I got client appreciation and rating given was C, my manager said that he gave me B. It was converted to C at HR level and immediate termination after working for 6 years and even after getting client appreciation in the last appraisal. When a project is changed in the middle of the company, you feed backs from previous IDU is not counted and as appraisal is done purely at IDU level, so no value to the good work done at previous IDU or project. But if you have done something wrong in previous project, you are gone if ur luck is bad. Yiu will definitely get bad rating. Or you can also get good rating it depends purely on relations and not the work done.

    If given onsite then employee's can earn money

    Cons

    Tech M will hire employee's before acquiring the project with high package and if they do not get the project they will fire u immediately... Also if employee is without project for 1 month then there is good chance that HR will ask you to resign.
    There is no firing policy as such, they can fire u anytime.
    good for people who can survive on politics...

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Dont fire employee's for your mistakes...this will not last for long, already your rating is 2.8 which will reduce further...
