I worked at Technion full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Great organization, good people both on the Academic Staff and the Administrative staff. Interesting positions and work and super great atmosphere. Really good social benefits and compensation plans. The Employee organization is strong and protects the employees, Once you get tenure you can change positions within the organization.

    Cons

The base salary is on the low side and if you're a very qualified person you might get bored fast and not always find another suitable position within the organization. Takes 2 years to get tenure.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Increase base salaries and encourage early retirement to encourage young talents to join.
