    Very good work place, friendly coworkers, sharp workers that are willing to help each other, and management that trains employees to be the best!

    Cons

    work has dropped off because of oil prices...thus laying off workers

    I worked at Technip USA full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    Pay wasn't bad. Worked on many different systems. Mostly good work environment surrounded by happy people.

    Cons

    Limited budget for everything IT. No investment in staff or systems for future. Constantly fixing problems. Too many employees were useless forcing those who were hard working to kill themselves to maintain company appreciation for IT systems.

    Advice to Management

    Invest in your staff. (the good ones) Invest in new solutions.

    They treat their engineers like cattle. No work life balance

    Need to give US employees a chance too...favoritism to the French and Scots

    Pros

    The work schedule is very flexible and allows you to complete school work during free time. Everybody is very nice and friendly, I loved working here while completing my undergraduate degree.

    Cons

    The hours are a bit tough but it works out perfect with school schedule.

    I have been working at Technip USA as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

    Flexibility to move around at the job without having someone ask where you're at and if you're working. Great atmosphere and friendly coworker. Stable job as long you do your work and be honest. If you need help just ask Company is all about quality and they're passionate about it.

    Cons

    Everyone has a specific job function in the department and sometime to finish your task it's dependent on the other person to do their part.

    Advice to Management

    Don't micromanage and get rid of deadweights.
