I have been working at Technology Service Professionals full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Managers are always willing to help and do not breath down your neck while you work. Pay is fair and if you have an issue with salary managment will work with you to make sure you're paid what you are worth and tell you what needs to be inproved inorder to make more money and move up in the company.

    Cons

If you're paid hourly, it is almost impossible to get extra hours for overtime. For example it is almost as if they would rather you delay finishing a project to avoid paying a few hours of overtime. Also, you may have to work without getting paid once you hit 40 hours in a week.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue to work on developing your employees, it does not go without notice.

I worked at Technology Service Professionals full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Everyone is very friendly for the most part. Pay is average. Easy place to work for. Great values. Family-oriented.

    Cons

Compensation was not fulfilled after being sought out for a position with more responsibility and no training.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Consider basic training handbooks. Once in a while, meet with non-management employees to receive feedback on their superiors.

    Pros

The only pro here would be that they leave you alone, for the most part. Unless you are not doing your job, that is.

    Cons

Was promised an authority position which never materialized. They don't listen to the worker bees at all. All that matters are the front line numbers and metrics. If you go out of your way, it is not recognized, but they will be sure to take the credit. Also, the pay is absurd.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to your employees. Know they are valuable.

    Cons

I have been working at Technology Service Professionals

    Pros

The management team they have in place is wonderful. They make you feel like family and the work life balance is great.

    Cons

As with any company as they grow from a small business to a medium sized business there are going to be some kinks, but TSP is always working on ways to better systems and processes and ways to keep their employees happy.

I worked at Technology Service Professionals full-time for more than a year

    Pros

The company provides paid time off and paid major holidays. Depending on which client site you are working at, you can gain some valuable experience. I was at Texas Instruments Central Help Desk.

    Cons

Employees on the 12 hours shifts used to have an incentive to work this shift because of the overtime. TSP figured out how to change the work schedule from 4-3-3-4 format to a 2-3-2 format and they split the Sunday workday between two pay periods. This was a legal way for them to avoid paying overtime. That was the last straw and I left and haven't looked back. Seemed that they were trying to force out the more experienced analysts in favor of desperate folks just looking for a job.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Focus on making your company a better place to work and not so much the bottom line. You get what you pay for.

    Pros

The managers and supervisors are really decent people. Everyone I've met has been really nice and willing to help out, show the ropes, and just make me feel welcome and like a part of the team.

    Cons

The work is fast paced and everyone's got a part to play, so I'm not getting as much training as I would like.

    Pros

I worked for them for 4 and a half years. They worked me hard but treated me well and with respect. They had good raises and really decent benefits.

    Cons

All of their sites are basically remote sites and their clients have control over work conditions and expectations. The TSP manager can try to help but there is only so much that they can control.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep the clients out of TSP business.
