Former Employee - Psychologist in Tel Aviv-Yafo (Israel)

I worked at Tel Aviv Medical Center part-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

The pros is that you are part of a multidisciplinary staff, there is ample opportunity for working as a therapist in a wide range of units specializing in different fields. There is also plenty of learning opportunities and opportunities for growth as a therapist.

    Cons

As in most public hospitals, the staff is underpaid and the workload is very large and the patients sometimes are not motivated enough for the treatment because they are receiving it free of charge

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Not enough is done to enhance worker satisfaction, and pay should more accurately reflect the amount of work one is expected to do
