I have been working at Tel Aviv University as a contractor (more than an year)

    Pros

Great campus, motivated students, interesting people, great lecturers, friendly atmosphere, steady job, lots of flexibility if you have kids or need to run errands,

    Cons

Cliquish employees and tenure make it difficult to get things accomplished. Simple tasks take weeks-months to be completed. They do not promote internal growth and do not seem to value their employees. Little if any upward mobility. Difficult for international workers, everything bureaucratic is in hebrew. Low pay

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Value your employees more, and make it more accessible to english speakers
