    Dont even think about it!

Senior Manager (Current Employee) Englewood, CO

ProsSome flexibility and some really good people work there.

ConsNo documented processes, no consistancy, no communication and mangerrs that just do whatever they want and blame others. If you get one of the bad managers you are just wasteing your time. No accountibility on senior managers

Advice to Senior ManagementReally???? What makes you think you can treat people this way.....

One can learn a lot from working for this company, someway or another.

    Manager (Former Employee) Denver, CO

ProsI have learned a lot working for a multi-national, traning is limited, they can throw you in the fire, but if you manage to get back on your own feet, and you reflect back and be proud on how you survive!

ConsThere are incompetent people placed in jobs making it harder for everyone.

Advice to Senior ManagementScreen individuals carefully for technical knowledge if you will not provide the training. Sometimes HR does not know what the hiring manager needs. Also look for a personality fit, someone who can handle being in a crisis work environment almost everyday.

Get in get you resume and get the heck out

Senior Technical Project Manager (Current Employee) Englewood, CO

ProsVery fast based projects, makes you work out ways that no one ever thought of. Co workers are generally great to work with.

ConsSenior management is "Passionate" definition is they will get in your face and scream (literally) on how bad of a person you are for missing something that you didnt even know existed. Even if you have proof you did nothing wrong you can and will get blamed. This company is run on fear and intimidation. It comes from the C-Levels down, good people have been fired for trying to tell the CEO this. The only thing that matters to management is who to blame, they blame each other and throw their own people under the bus regularly to save their own jobs. This is not a place for a career unless you have already been there for 10 years, if you are just coming in understand you will last 1-2 years before being totally burned out and run down. I would not recommend this job to anyone.

Advice to Senior ManagementThe only advise i can give to management is to quit, because any derogitory info will never get to Ken other wise. Take care of the people and your jobs will be safe. I believe if Ken actually knew how his employees were being treated he would not allow this to happen. The problem is no lets it get to him.

A place with limited growth and over the top expectations

Technical Support Representative (Former Employee) Springfield, MO

ProsThe good thing about working for TeleTech is getting to know some great people as fellow agents. Most Agents are very friendly and easy to get along with.

ConsThe expectations of the project I supported became exponentally higher the entire time I worked there. There was no pattern of raising expectations. I was let go for not meeting the new higher metrics in three months even though I improved each month on my way to meet the new lofty goals.

Advice to Senior ManagementOffer encouragement to people trying their best to meet the new lofty metric goals. Also when new things get implemented have good clear reasons for them and explain them to the employees and do not just tell them to accept them and go on. We all want reasons for changing our work habits.

twas good until Census contract ended

    Accountant (Former Employee) Englewood, CO

Prosgarage parking, ability to interact with people in different countries, friendly co-workers except for a few, medical benefits are reasonable

Conspoor communication from immediate manager, excessive trust on managers to hire the right person, no policy on manager disciplinary action

Advice to Senior Managementquarterly evaluate your managers & supervisors and see if they demonstrate TT's core ethical values

Good workers treated badly, high school all over, old equipment, bad chairs, low morale.

Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) Niagara Falls, NY

ProsIf you are competent, you can get a job. If government contract, pay is good, otherwise not. A few good leaders, trainers. Work may not be demanding, but schedule is strict.
Quality review is sometimes fair, sometimes nit-picky. Co-workers are usually friendly.

ConsTeam lead has incentive to be over-demanding. Bonus is often just out of reach because of tricks with quality review. Equipment is outdated, bad CRTs, poor audio quality, no limit on
sound volume to protect worker. Expect some bad behavior from co-workers. Training and
professional relationship is often set to lowest level of co-workers--disappointing if you are experienced and professional. I'm referring to a big temporary project, but I worked here before and things weren't much better.

Advice to Senior ManagementIf you offer more upside movement for employees, you may improve the quality of your workforce. Set team goals as win-win, to reduce lead exploitation. Don't tolerate the immature behavior of substandard workers. Hire better and treat employees with more respect, better pay. Try to move workplace reality closer than the image you promote.

It's okay for work at home job, but never think it is permanent.

Customer Service @home Associate (Current Employee) New Home, TX

ProsStarting pay okay and yu had the opprtunity to get higher pay quick if you got high quliaty assurance ratings. Another thing that was good was that it is on a project basis so you do not have to do the same thing all the time.

Cons-job is temporary or seasonal, they hire people per project for 2-3 months.
    -training is pretty boring.
-they are not as flexible as they say they are in their timings.

Advice to Senior ManagementThey should not hire everyone and then just cut the people that didnt make it insteads they should hire people for their skill.

    Tough place to work

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee) Englewood, CO

ProsVery smart people work at TeleTech... you can learn a ton about international business and even may have the opportunity to travel internationally. Some people are very successful at TeleTech.

ConsIt's a very tough world to succeed in. Little feedback on performance until it's too late. Lack of training. Unhappy workforce.

Advice to Senior ManagementPay people what they are worth.... Train people so they can be successful. Value your employees and what they bring to the table.
