Great Training Ground

Digital Service Representative (Former Employee)
Cebu City (Philippines)

I worked at TeleTech full-time for more than a year

ProsYou will definitely gain confidence on your work, as all the essential training will be provided and the best part is recognition, you gain what you deserve.

ConsThe qualifications to some of the hired employees are questionable.
The HR needs to stress the credentials of the employee to be.

Enjoyable yet full of challenges experience.

Senior Specialist (Former Employee)
Manila, Manila (Philippines)

I worked at TeleTech full-time for more than a year

ProsTeletech has a nice working environment and the work experience and challenges will let you grow and become a better employee.

ConsEverything is almost good in Teletech but their health card benefits are not employee and famly friendly because of the co-payment scheme and the compensation are not that competitive for other department.

Advice to Senior ManagementTry to improve the HMO coverage of the employee and consider to give considerable amount of bonuses to boost the performance of their employees.

Enriching.

Sales and Sales Support Senior Rep (Former Employee)
Buenos Aires (Argentina)

I worked at TeleTech part-time for more than 5 years

ProsYou learn a lot about dealing with people, overcoming difficult situations and metrics. You become a key player of top companies' business transformation. Teletech's Analytics systems are mindblowing. I prefer working here than going to University.

ConsPhone reps play the most important role but their salaries are too low.

Advice to Senior ManagementSometimes managers do not take their jobs seriously enough and they have little or no control over things. They just do what their superior says and do not have any judgment of their own.

Great place to work!

Executive Director (Current Employee)

I have been working at TeleTech full-time for more than 10 years

ProsGreat salary, growth opportunities, friendly environment. You meet a lot of people and have the big opportunity to do things for others. If you are a student they offer schedules that allow you to do both things.

ConsThis job is not for everybody, it has an interesying challenge due its nature. You handle customers that need something or have a problem, and the level of the calls is ussualy heavy, meaning that you will be call after call for periods of time.

I worked at TeleTech full-time for more than a year

ProsSalary quite ok for the region

ConsBad management no leadership . They pretend to care about you but they aren't
Interested at all. No career opportunities without

Great at the beginning of career as a rank and file employee but not so good for middle managers.

Workforce Management (Former Employee)
Manila (Costa Rica)

I worked at TeleTech full-time for more than 8 years

ProsInvests on technology and process improvement to achieve better efficiency from employees.

ConsVery large organization sometimes loses focus with too many goals and sometimes compromises employee satisfaction.

Advice to Senior ManagementMiddle managers are also employees. What dissatisfies them is also a reflection of what needs to be a focus for the organization. Don't just focus on agent satisfaction. Think about your support employees too.

Understaffed

Tier1 Tech Support (Current Employee)
Belfast, Northern Ireland (UK)

I have been working at TeleTech full-time for more than a year

ProsNice team mates, close to city center, some nice team leaders, relocation package if coming from abroad.
Three weeks training.
Help to sort out bureaucratic stuff.
Devices can be taken on loan to test at home.

ConsMostly understaffed teams, training often forgotten or done too late, not many up to date infos to share with customers, bad communication with HQ, lots of turn over, canteen food is barely eatable.
Some TLs are just sitting around, only friends of friends get promoted, no chance of career openings, bonus scheme is a scam and no pay raise for years.
Unequal workload between teams.
Communication with management is non existent.
Unprepared TLs and senior management.

Advice to Senior ManagementFight for better conditions and request better tools from HQ
