Advice to Senior Management
senior management incapable of making a business plan and sticking to it; ineffective in communicating with staff;
Pros
It is a good place to get experience. They throw you right into the thick of things and let you learn hands on.
Cons
You are overworked and treated poorly. It is very dynamic and turnover is very discouraging. Senior level employees are always looking for someone better to go.
Advice to Senior Management
Treat your employees better and you will retain more of them. If you don't care you will always have the high turnover rate that you currently have.
Pros
Nice building. Underground parking. Friday grills in the courtyard are nice.
Cons
Terrible experience overall. Company functions only to serve interests of the CEO/Founder and Vice-Chairman. No guiding strategy, no leadership.
Advice to Senior Management
Remove Ken as CEO. Learn what real leadership is and work to develop. Don't celebrate boorish behavior.
Pros
Dynamic Environment. Fast Pace, Heated garage, lots of nice people,
Cons
If you are working in the wrong department, or under the wrong person, life can be very ugly. Everything can get very personal from where you sit to your performance review.
Advice to Senior Management
It is more important about who or whom you are working with (for), not about where you are working at. Too bad it is sad to see good people are leaving and"great person" got promoted.
Pros
State of the art technology
Cons
Employee burnout; high expectations with poor support
Advice to Senior Management
Treat employees better
Pros
Some flexibility and some really good people work there.
Cons
No documented processes, no consistancy, no communication and mangerrs that just do whatever they want and blame others. If you get one of the bad managers you are just wasteing your time. No accountibility on senior managers
Advice to Senior Management
Really???? What makes you think you can treat people this way.....
Pros
I have learned a lot working for a multi-national, traning is limited, they can throw you in the fire, but if you manage to get back on your own feet, and you reflect back and be proud on how you survive!
Cons
There are incompetent people placed in jobs making it harder for everyone.
Advice to Senior Management
Screen individuals carefully for technical knowledge if you will not provide the training. Sometimes HR does not know what the hiring manager needs. Also look for a personality fit, someone who can handle being in a crisis work environment almost everyday.
Pros
Very fast based projects, makes you work out ways that no one ever thought of. Co workers are generally great to work with.
Cons
Senior management is "Passionate" definition is they will get in your face and scream (literally) on how bad of a person you are for missing something that you didnt even know existed. Even if you have proof you did nothing wrong you can and will get blamed. This company is run on fear and intimidation. It comes from the C-Levels down, good people have been fired for trying to tell the CEO this. The only thing that matters to management is who to blame, they blame each other and throw their own people under the bus regularly to save their own jobs. This is not a place for a career unless you have already been there for 10 years, if you are just coming in understand you will last 1-2 years before being totally burned out and run down. I would not recommend this job to anyone.
Advice to Senior Management
The only advise i can give to management is to quit, because any derogitory info will never get to Ken other wise. Take care of the people and your jobs will be safe. I believe if Ken actually knew how his employees were being treated he would not allow this to happen. The problem is no lets it get to him.
Pros
garage parking, ability to interact with people in different countries, friendly co-workers except for a few, medical benefits are reasonable
Cons
poor communication from immediate manager, excessive trust on managers to hire the right person, no policy on manager disciplinary action
Advice to Senior Management
quarterly evaluate your managers & supervisors and see if they demonstrate TT's core ethical values
Pros
ahead in tech from most companies
free to work from remote
Cons
no proper compensation/salary
will end up working like an @$$
Advice to Senior Management
evaluate ur employees and pay proper salary and respect.
