    Pros

    Professional work environment, amazing care cordinators, resourceful staff, everyday is something different, team oriented care coordination, decent training, rotating case load, there was an attempt to unionize (almost had it), lots of freedom once you are in the field.

    Cons

    Tons of county notes, top down management style, highly controlled work enviroment, billing procedures compromise care services, mental health services/relations are cut off once the client is off parole, not enough pay, and corporate culture trickles down from head quarters down to staff.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Consider better wages for your employees.

    Pros

    Exceptional recovery model. It is very fulfilling working with clients. The benefits are good and there is opportunity for growth.

    Cons

    Poor leadership. The HR department is horrible, and operations is not much better. The CEO has no idea what's REALLY going on. Used to be a wonderful and special place to work, now it's all politics.

    Get a clue.

    Pros

    The CEO and leadership team truly care about employees. They visit us and we do employee surveys. We are not perfect but I feel leadership is going in right direction.

    A lot of old school leaders fighting the change.

    Pros

    meet some nice folks. clients are in real need of
    services and Telecare attempts to provide. Management is out of touch with client needs but not the line staff

    Cons

    PSCI starts at $11.73 per hour and PSCII starts at $14.33 and must have Bachelors degree. PSC stands for Personal Service Coordinator. Telecare pays 14-18% below market

    Pros

    Paid well to start. I was pleasantly surprised. Shifts are 8 hours, instead of 12, which is good for some of the employees. The floor staff was very nice and helpful. I really enjoyed working with them.

    Cons

    The management didn't seem to follow the Telecare philosophy of providing a 'recovery centered culture.' I really believe if management would practice what they preach, the work environment would greatly improve. One more area of concern was they seem to use a lot of registry people and that is fine, except they don't provide any training for them, so the regular staff has to step in and fix mistakes or pick up the pieces as if it were an emergency, and pray that nothing negative comes from it.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    There is a training that is provided by the corporation that talks about "Creating a Recovery Centered Culture." I think the management staff should follow it.

    Non profit, easy parking, some nice people.

    Not a place to grow. All about politics. Very rude management and poor work ethics.

    Excellent team dynamics and ethics. Strong teams, well trained, and locally the management was excellent. Good benefits, good work-life balance.

    Cons

    Corporate tried to be supportive, but the inter-departmental coordination was not as good as could have been.

    Keep in touch with the "front-line" workers.

    Environment that allows for healthy, therapeutic relationships with clients. Beautiful facility with wonderful activities for clients.

    Cons

    Gossip, sabotage, lack of training to prevent success in position. Unprofessionalism by asst. director.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Openly and honestly discuss any concerns before making any decisions about a new employee not being the "right fit". Evaluate new employee personally and monitor their job performance without relying on the report by someone else who is a nonsupportive, unprofessional non-team-player.

    Pros

    Excellent help for the mentally impaired in our community
    Great team work
    Good pay and benefits, would love more but who wouldn't?!
    Occasional bonuses!

    Cons

    Staff that complain or gossip about management or other staff. No where is perfect to work, have had this issue with every company I have worked for, so it's not a Telecare issue at all, but people act like it is.

    Say Thank You a little more to the staff, otherwise, keep up the good work!
