Pros – - Great Work Culture
- Great Cross funtional Teams Worldwide
- Everybody is willing to help and support other teams in the resolution of any issue
- Great benefits and salaries according to the market
- Best company I've ever worked so far
- Telefonica is being updating its portafolio, strategy and vision for the future of Telecom Business, which in my opinion is ahead of their competitors
Cons – - Needs to improve processes to speed up the time to attend customer needs
- Company is affected at the moment due to the crisis in Spain and Europe which limits the budget for the rest of the Regions (I hope is solved in the 3 to 5 years term)
Advice to Senior Management – - Actually is positive, the Leadership and Management (International and Global Services) are outstanding! Bus specially in the US. Senior Management Team is simply the best!

Current Employee – been working at Telefónica
Pros – Global Corporation, strong financials and job security in working in the USA for foreign employees.
Cons – Hierarchy, does not recognize that the USA needs USA executives and employees to run the operations and not expats. Serious leadership issues with executive team that has been left in place and with new team of managers.
Advice to Senior Management – Manage your operations in the USA with USA managers as you would in Brazil and Spain and you will do a much better job of building a winning team in the USA. Do a better job of communicating with the employees and not managing through fear tactics.

Current Employee – been working at Telefónica full-time for less than a year
Pros – • There huge amount of benefits for employees;
• The visibility of your work is great because everybody knows the company and you can achieve millions with your work;
• Work have a good flow and projects are clear and well defined (at least in my team);
• Use and adapt a lot of methodologies of work (Scrum, XP, TDD) and have well defined pipelines;
• Telefónica sponsors a lot of events , conventions and courses, of course employees have an easier access to them;
• A lot of collaboration of co-works, besides the numbers of the company works in small teams so there is good communication but information travel slow;
• A lot of changes the company is always moving and re-organizing itself.
Cons – • The information travels slow because the distance (specially with spain) and some projects can be delayed for months;
• It's too easy to be forget here, too many thing happening so if your don't improve and show yourself you will be stuck where you are;
• Bosses and directors changes a lot so is easy to loose focus for a while;
• Sometimes your project can just disappear and you loose all your work.
Advice to Senior Management – • Get more involved with day-by-day operations to understand which can lead to better task organization and prioritization;
• Tech leaders should be more 360º professionals.

Current Employee – been working at Telefónica full-time for more than a year
Pros – Possibility of working abroad for 6 months
Benefits
Cons – Management
There are too many changes during the year so it´s really hard to have a delivery.
It´s too burocratic
Advice to Senior Management – Don´t just look at the deliveries of the junior managers, also look at the happiness of their employees. The turn over is too high on my area.
