    Pros

Great entrepreneurial spirit. Lots of growth

    Cons

very sales focused. Need to also care about quality and R&D

    Advice to Management

Need to have a more holistic and global approach to talent sharing, they buy their talent, for a premium, so there is no historical culture to anchor the company moral compass,

    Pros

Good Company, descent benefits, intelligent people co-workers and mid management level are easy to work with. Great company to create a career.

    Cons

Little to no training once in your job function. Management budgets for training but it often gets cut. Lean organization that says what they think employees want to hear but usually don't tell them all the facts.

    Advice to Management

Be more transparent, offer continuous training even to management and mid-management shouldn't be given the left overs / crumbs when it's time to give out stock options.

    Pros

Really do have good products. These products can make a difference in a patient's life. New building is huge improvement.

    Cons

Dealing with commodity products with some of the most formulaic and uncreative marketing ever. There's a policy, procedure, and regulation for everything, unless you're Sr. Management, they can get away with everything.

    Advice to Management

Seriously review Sr. Management. What culture are they enabling with their behavior?

    Pros

Worked with a great group of mostly committed individuals to produce devices that really help people. Opportunities exist for those who seek them and are their own best advocates.

    Cons

Pay was low in certain areas and employee attraction and retention were affected. Management was constantly in flux which often impacted morale. Some changes were good and some were very bad. Innovation was stifled and culture change is a slow process. In order to keep stock price up, the management is willing to shut plants, relocate functions, and trim products....this could be a pro for some people and a con for others.

    Advice to Management

If you want to attract and retain top talent then you need to compensate accordingly.
