    Unprofessional, unethical and immoral

    Sales Representative (Former Employee)
    Birmingham, England (UK)

ProsMeeting a hand full of like-minded people who work hard and have a good work ethic.

ConsThe only way to progress is to be liked in a personal capacity by management rather than based on your achieved merits professionally.

Advice to Senior ManagementStop misusing your managerial powers to intimidate, patronise and emotionally blackmail your employees. Start to appreciate hard workers. There is a lot of immoral and unethical behaviour that takes place that most employees are aware of but afraid to speak up about because of the close ties all the management and senior staff have with one another. There is far too much favouritism that takes place for example, whereby a member of staff could be consistently under performing but still progresses to a higher level. This not only brings the morale down on the floor, especially because majority of the staff can see what is happening but are unable to speak up, but it also is completely unfair to other members of staff who genuinely work hard. Again this is all the fault of poor poor management. It is unbelievable that it has been allowed to go on for so long. As a result good staff end up leaving and unfortunately some don't have the courage to leave because they don't feel they are good enough to leave. Why? Because they have been constantly discouraged and told they are not good enough and therefore feel de-motivated. The one thing I will take from this experience is to fully appreciate the job I have now. The environment and people including management is a complete and utter contrast. It has also taught me the importance to work even harder towards my goal and never to be afraid to speak up for what is right.

    Technical Support (Former Employee)
    Chihuahua, Chihuahua (Mexico)

ProsIt all depends on you, you will achieve what you want to achieve, the trainning is great and while learning everyone is willing to help.

ConsTo do great you have to do long a hours, doing it as a side job doesn't cut it, the company doesn't value you much, there are some benefits but not much, the the time-off policy is very strict.

Advice to Senior ManagementDon't be late.

    Horrible/Uncaring Company

    Customer Service Representative (Current Employee)
    Ogden, UT

ProsA pay check is about all that Teleperformance has going for it. Some supervisors are actually human and others are the devil incarnate.

ConsOffice culture you ask everyone is either dating, living with or in some type of relationship with someone else. HR looks the other way when it is brought up. Funds raisers line the companies charity profile and make them look good but the employee benefits in no way shape or form. Donations to their pet charities should come with a tax form that you can claim with an employees taxes not the companies. No advancement in the company unless you are in a relationship with someone in power like the Call Center Mgr, Vice President of HR or even the Director of Quality Assurance.

Advice to Senior ManagementClean house, really take to heart the companies VALUES and practice them. The are excellent values but only words when they aren't being used.

    Difficult to work for

    Trainer (Former Employee)
    Columbus, OH

ProsGarunteed employment, meet great people, you learn phone skills that can be put towards future jobs. There's a whole support group for employees

ConsIt is the most stressful job I have ever had. I enjoyed being a trainer and even a supervisor but the agent job you have to go through to get there is the worst job ever!

Advice to Senior ManagementTry to have fun with the agents. They hate their job try and make it better on them

    Worst company in the world

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsThere are none, at all. Everything is horrible.

ConsEverything, literally. They have no respect for you, they are an outsourcer that has another company that handles the contracts to avoid responsibilities.
They don't know what ethics mean.
They don't care about your work, you can watch movies or play everyday on your computer or work hard, they don't care. They will promote the ones who play all day.

Advice to Senior ManagementStop promoting people who don't deserve it. Don't blame your failures on the agents.
