I worked at Telerx full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Great place to get your foot in the door of the corporate world. If you can handle peoples complaints about products they offer a chance to move on to other jobs in the company.

    Cons

In the 3 years I worked there I saw more people get laid off then in any other place I worked at. They will lay people off even if they have a key position in the company and are good employees.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You might want to consider have better employee loyalty. People leave the company for fear of being laid off. If you work hard and do a good job you should not have to worried about being laid off.

I have been working at Telerx full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Co workers are the best. Willing to help out if you know how to approach them.

    Cons

New IT management is just horrible. The CIO is not technical at all and it shows with the talent he hires. They hire new Upper management while the existing ones are still there. Lost a lot of good employees as a result and more to come. Communication has gotten worse, leaving employees in the dark (new HQ being announced). Their first acquisition was a mistake, inheriting processes that Telerx can't support, especially when all the employees that used to own it are gone. Their second "acquisition" is more like a takeover, as the other company has more employees on the org chart than Telerx. A lot of people are seeing the evidence of a split in the company with the consumer package good side (Telerx) being sold and the pharma side (c3i) being retained. The good old days of Telerx are gone...

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Telerx forgot that employees are their key to success. Key people are leaving the organization for good reason. It might be too late to save the company though. So good luck with that.

    I worked at Telerx

    Pros

Great Employees, Good Benefits, good learning experience.

    Cons

Use to be one of the best companies in the area to work for - not so much any more. Management is two faced! If you are liked you are on your way - if not "out the door" BUT you think you are liked and then stabbed in the back - I would advise people to stay away or go into the position well aware of what might happen along the way. Sr. Management, President have no clue how to respond to the employees only interested in THEIR bonuses! Be Wary!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop saying one thing and doing the opposite - listen and look to what is going on in the company. Stop playing favorites - give everyone an equal opportunity not just the ones who are on your "A" list.

I have been working at Telerx

    Pros

My boss (director) is phenomenal as are a select few others

    Cons

HR is a joke, they messed up my benefits, my Federal and state exemptions (how hard is it to read a 2 and enter 2, seriously!), and they never get back to you unless you hassle and hassle for several weeks.

    I worked at Telerx

    Pros

The people are really nice and encouraging
Makes you feel important at times with birthday cakes and shout outs
    Provides food day (parties) often

    Cons

Pay pay pay pay was horrible
Time off- training is three months straight if you miss a day or two you may be asked to leave
The actual job alone is super boring and not for those in a non medical field
    Did I mention the pay

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Spice up the job and make it a little more fun to come to work and not hate it. And pay your employees they will stay longer.
