Advice to Senior ManagementLet the agents do their job, and understand the difference between agents who need help and those who can work through struggles themselves.

14 years of a bad habit, never abused the system but ouch abuse you!

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

I have been working at Telvista full-time for more than 10 years

ProsPaid time off 5.87 hours every other week that is 19 paid days off a year
And 8 hours each year you work there up to 10 years or 80 hours

ConsIts a job with crap days off, and don't plan on having a life!
Supervisors toooo young never did any work but bluffed their way up, upper management always say its about the #'s lol

Advice to Senior ManagementWork life balance lol
Promote you then knock you down, take back stabbing, lying ass kissing brown nosers word over the truth!
Sexual harassment not tolerated unless you are a Supervisor.

Great Culture and place to work for people that want to grow!

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

I worked at Telvista

ProsThere is a cafe on site everyday for employees that want to eat on site, free coffee and free food almost every week. The break room is nice and has ping pong tables and couches for employees to relax at. Very nice building

ConsWork hours can be late depending on the contract but there is a shift differential that makes it worth taking the late hour.

Advice to Senior ManagementWould like to see more incentives, gift cards and giveaway contests to help boost production and morale.

Huge facility, long, hard work for such a low pay

Verizon FiOS CSA (Former Employee)
Dallas, TX

I worked at Telvista full-time for less than a year

ProsBig place, easy breaks and benefits

ConsHorrible pay for hard work with crappy customers, terrible training

Advice to Senior ManagementThe 4 week long training period I attended did absolutely nothing to help me, the hours and hours I spent doing worksheets and group activities only really showed me how it felt to get paid to be in a middle school classroom all over again.. We did barely any call simulations, we were taught more or less how to handle customers' emotions rather than troubleshooting their problem, and 2 weeks of training was spent more on telling everyone how much you're going to have to hit your metrics or be cast away onto the wall of shame where everyone's numbers for the month are listed. The pay was $10/hour for being a real-live legitimate technical support associate, you really do have to know how verizon FiOS's cable, phone, and internet service works to be able to help anyone -- the problem is that training teaches you nothing. I learned more on the floor than I ever did in the classroom, and I spent hours and hours teaching myself new material on the support website because I was never taughrt any such thing in the classroom. My advice is to do more call simulations in training, actually teach new hires about effective troubleshooting, and let them know to begin with that they're only getting paid $10/hour to do real legitimate tech support troubleshooting which should pay employees way way way more to do that kind of work.

Potential greatness hindered by lack of leadership and foreign lack of respect of employment law.

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

I worked at Telvista for more than 3 years

ProsGreat entry level jobs for call center reps.

ConsBrining in the Mexican workplace attitudes will find them in a law suite one day.

Telvista

Call Center Supervisor (Current Employee)
Dallas, TX

I have been working at Telvista full-time for more than 3 years

ProsDecent benefits, that is all that is really keeping me here at telvista untill I can find a better paying job that has room for growth.

ConsPay is very poor, managers do not care about their employees at all. Very hard to get promoted up in the company. There are Supervisors here who have been supervisors for 10 plus years. Nearly impossible to change your shift. I have asked for special projects and more work to do, nothing ever gets done or offered.

Advice to Senior ManagementPay your employees more, make growth in the company better.
