    Positive Outlook

I have been working at Templeton & Company full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

A culture of caring - they really care about their employees and their families Ideal for someone with entrepreneurial spirit and energy Client list rivals that of top firms in South Florida Recently invested a lot of capital on internal infrastructure, including cutting edge software systems, HR manager, and other perks smaller firms dont provide

    Cons

Departmental organization Sometimes expectations are unclear, including guidelines for advancement opportunities

    Advice to Management

Relay overall firm strategy and goals, hold upper management accountable

    Approves of CEO

I have been working at Templeton & Company full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Other than the view, there are no pros

    Cons

Partners/Managers think they are on top of the world. They dont treat staff like humans. No clear path on how things they are done. Extremely unorganized and expect staff to just get everything. No communications will be made to staff, you might know the day of or day before. I would never recommend this job to anyone. You will be more happy working in a fast food establishment

    Advice to Management

Change your ways to treat employee. Stop making it sound like you care about them and actually start proving yourselves

    Disapproves of CEO

I have been working at Templeton & Company full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

There are some really good, smart people working here. However, they don't get the respect they deserve. The office is nice.

    Cons

Senior management acts like staff are servants there to make them money, and are treated as if they are disposable. Management makes decisions that make no business sense. Managers are never reprimanded for being rude or disrespectful to staff. If you aren't family, your opinion means squat.

    Advice to Management

Recognize that you have intelligent, educated people working for you.

    No opinion of CEO

I worked at Templeton & Company full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Nice views of the city

    Cons

They have no formal training of how they want things done. Management would figure it out as they went along and would fault you because you didn't know what they were doing

    Advice to Management

    Organized workflow helps

    Pros

Great place to work Good corporate culture Balanced pay and benefit plans Ability to grow and move up within the firm

    Cons

Company is family owned and bias is shown to individuals within the family. Lack of focus amongst department managers in working together to reach a common goal.

    Advice to Management

I believe they have the right goals and understanding of public accounting that if they took time to align the goals of the firm and made them acceptable to all managers the firm would have no limits.
