I have been working at Tenet Healthcare full-time

Pay is good for current job. Offer fairly decent benefits. Comparable to other hospitals in the area. Most of physicians and staff are friendly and professional.

Expectations of nurses are unrealistic. They steady require more and more for you to do, but do not supply the tools to succeed. Work load is unsafe. High percentage of resignations. Morale is low.

    Advice to Management

Involve employees who are actually doing the work before making decisions. For some reason, nurse management forget how stressful floor work was when they were doing it. As a result, they come up with new policies and add more job duties, but do not add more staff. Overkill.
