Pros
great office location, great environment to work.
Cons
main office is too isolated from the hospitals
Advice to Senior Management
keep up the good work
Pros
Offer healthcare at their facility which has top notch physicians, and many specialized services often only found at bigger hospitals
Cons
Employees are not valued members of the team, told that job should come first above all other aspects of your life
Pros
People make the experience and I happened to work for two really great men at Tenet. There was a recognition of a need for family life balance and compensation was very high.
Cons
Not everyone in the organization has the same level of integrity that my bosses did.
Advice to Senior Management
no
Pros
Competitive pay for the position, very flexible hours, friendly work environment
Cons
Pay is still not great, can be very hectic
Advice to Senior Management
Listen to the people on the ground, they are the ones who interact with the customers.
Pros
Good compensation and benefits, young, energetic management and directors.
Cons
So unstable, multiple layoffs every year, extremely high admin and management turnover, avoid working here if you don't want to be back in the job market in a few months.
Advice to Senior Management
Fix corporate to hospital communication and resources, figure out how to run a practice management side of the business, quit laying off your best people.
Pros
Very good benefits. So-so compensation.
Cons
The company was under reconstruction and not very stable in term of job security.
Pros
Learned alot about healthcare industrry.
Cons
Cutthroat company. Management talks a good game, gives you positive reviews, a raise, then 2 months later, your position is eliminated. Too many cuts in mid level people who actually do the work, then they add s Director or above that does very little other than place additional strain on the people left to work.
Advice to Senior Management
Get rid of higher level people who do nothing but occupy an office and a parking spot instead of the people who do the work.
Pros
Good pay and benefits after years on the job.
Cons
I was laid off from Tenet/Conifer after 10 years on the job along with about 300 others because they are sending jobs over seas. The management treated us as bad as possible, within the law, to try to get us to quit so they would not have to pay unemployment or severence. Supervisors are uneducated and unprofessional. Ethics policy is a joke.
Advice to Senior Management
It's all about the money, Tenet/Conifer would be a good company if management cared as much about the employees and customers as they do the dollar.
Pros
1. work schedule is flexible if you have seniority
2. co-workers are great to work with.
Cons
1. department management is unprofessional
2. lack management capabilities
3. department management is very demoralizing
Pros
Health benefits and free parking. There is a cafe on site, which you have pay for your meals but at discounted price. There is also an onsite gym you can join and pay for the membership with payroll deductions.
Cons
Many things, in my opinion. Pay rate, paid time off, processes, communications, employee morale just to name a few things.
Advice to Senior Management
Step it up a notch...please, for your employees. They help drive that bottom line and keep Tenet in the black instead of the red.
