Great data warehousing technology. Lots of new products to cover broad range of the market. Customers are very loyal. Many staff have been with company for a long time. Great diversity of people. By and large nice co-workers to work with. Lots of flexibility. Lots of opportunities to learn. Great R & D facilities. You will get an opportunity to work with some very bright people in the industry and the best thing is thing is that they are eager to share their knowledge. Some of the industry consultants are top class.

Cons

Focus on selling hardware rather than providing solutions. Professional Services and Sales can be more on the same page. Be prepared for lots of travel. Over reliance of a relatively small number of customers for growth.

Advice to Senior Management

Think more of people during the downturn and come up with innovative ways to manage costs. It is a great company and hope it weathers the current economic downturn.
