    Pros

The only real satisfaction this company offers is the money. However, the money is excellent.

    Cons

Teva has way too many incompetent managers that use micromanagement to control the sales representatives.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I worked at Teva Neuroscience as a contractor (more than an year)

    Pros

Company understood work/life balance flow, pay decent as contractor, good hours, job easy to learn, good on the job training

    Cons

drama between employees handled by management very poorly, tension between employees, does not give sufficient notice to contracted employees in regards to contract renewal or denial of continuing contract, employees not focusing on their on duties and worried about others duties, contractors do not get same benefits as internal employees even though workflow was the same for both contractor and internal employees, café too expensive and does not offer enough healthy meals

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Address tension and drama between employees when brought to the attention of supervisors

    Pros

Great Senior Management, Outstanding Culture, and fantastic outlook. The new CEO is one of the best I have ever seen in the industry...has a tremendous focus and appears to have an amazing vision.

    Cons

Purchased Cehalon last year. Because of the purchase Teva gets all of Cephalons baggage, thus more regulation, thus moving more towards a big pharma stucture.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Go back to pre-Cephalon

    Pros

Excellent benefits and top hiring resouces. The company always made employees feel like they were part of a big family they did this by taking the time and the money to give employees even small little gifts at different times of the year to say they were thinking of the employees.

    Cons

The cons came when they downsized their presence in Miami.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

To continue to pay attention to their employees the way they have.

I have been working at Teva Neuroscience full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

I am surrounded by like-minded achievers with integrity. We are treated with dignity and respect, and have a compensation plan designed specifically to attract and retain achievers. It's a "no whining" atmosphere that makes me proud to be a contributing member. I absolutely love my job, my manager, my teammates, and my team. We live out the founding values of our predecessor company, Marion Laboratories: 1) Treat Others as You Want to be Treated and 2) Those Who Produce Share in the Rewards.

    Cons

The only negative has been the change associated with a generic parent company. When we've been saddled with global policies & procedures, some don't fit our culture. I will say though that our US Leadership fight with all they have to eliminate as many of these irritating policies as possible. It's a valid beef but in context of the situation we're in, it's a drop in the bucket compared to the good things we experience.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep fighting to let us operate with as much autonomy as possible. We have a giant "carrot" in front of us, so let us go get it!

    Pros

Best Pharmaceutical Company to work by far. Worked for other "Big Pharma" companies and there is NO comparision. Teva is a big company but runs like a small one. Teva Listens to employees and makes changes upon requests. They do not micro-manage you. You are trusted to run your business as a Specialist. You are treated like a person and not a number. Great Work/Life balance.

    Cons

Good, but not great, Benefits and Salaries compared to other Phamacutical Companies.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Larry Downing is incredible and truly cares about the people in his company.
