    Pros

Really nice coworkers, good health benefits and 401 k from day 1. It's a good place to start a career in banking.

    Cons

No clear policy and procedures, you have to learn as you go. Pay well under average for the industry. Poor communication within the company.

    Advice to Management

Focus on existing branches and proper training of employees. Management seems more interested in marketing and expanding into the Houston area than it is in growing member base at the existing branches. Invest in your current employees and spend a little more of the budget on salaries and turnover might not be so high!

    Pros

Good benefits and 401(k), good pay

    Cons

Working in larger branches is harder to learn and ask for help. Has become more about selling services than making the member experience one to cherish and appreciate.

    Advice to Management

treat all employees equal, even though one employee has more experience the other can have something of value to bring to the company too.

    Pros

Very friendly and helpful people I enjoy the hometown feeling and atmosphere! Hours are good and pay is well with in range of other banks located in the surrounding areas

    Cons

Need better documentation when it comes to training! The hands on practise works but need better improved definitions on certain things to help understand across the board

    Advice to Management

Keep up good work just improve on the graing side of things. Great place to work and plan on benefiting from all this place has to offer me. I enjoy every day that I'm here thanks to the wonderful team atmosphere

    Pros

The pay and benefits are pretty good.

    Cons

The former CEO still runs the place. And let's say some of his choices in female employees were not based on merit. While everyone is on a 1st name basis, he must be called Mr. _____. No written policies or procedures. People go to meetings and look busy but accomplish very little. Which is probably good since there is no accountability.

    Advice to Management

Flush the former CEO and his cronies. They will get you into a lot of trouble.

    Pros

It was nice having the smaller town feel and members actually appreciating what you do for them. Staff was super great to be around and were more than helpful at most times.

    Cons

No solid foundation or written policy of procedure which leads to a lot of confusion and many errors. The trainers are super great people, unfortunately they just are misinformed on the important items that need to be trained. Management most definitely has their favorites and I fear for future leadership.

    Advice to Management

Really try to be open to potential process improvement and look around to see the amazing potential in a lot of more of your staff.

    Pros

Decent salary, great benefits, nice co-workers, fun job with room for advancement. Strong management with good vision.

    Cons

Although it seems to vary somewhat from department to department, they are overall not family friendly. Good forbid you or your child become ill more then two times in a year. Forget about going to your children's school programs or activities.

    Advice to Management

Increase sensitivity training for mid level management. Do away with outsourced call centers.
