    Pros

I have worked for this company for almost 15 years. I started as a CNA, and they paid for my nursing school. The pay and benefits are great. There is plenty of opportunity to learn. I love this company.

    Cons

I wish this company was in more than just Texas in case I ever wanted to move to be closer to family. Otherwise, it is a great place to work.

    Advice to Management

There is not much to say to management as they have to enforce the CMS regulations and laws. The need for excellent patient satisfaction scores dictates much of what we do, often directly affecting the readmission rates. Not much administration can do to change that.

    Pros

They have excellent benefits and a lot of flexibility in work schedule, Work-home life balance is important

    Cons

Manager was an extreme micro manager; why hire people if you don't trust them to do the job?

    Pros

    -benefits
    -internal opportunities are usually abundant
-most entities are great to work with

    Cons

-new leadership means lots of new executive changes which in turn trickles down to others

    Advice to Management

To because this health care system you have to start slow. The changes since the previous CEO left have been subtle but trust me they are feeling the effects in the departments.

    Pros

My experiences with patients, and being able to aid in their health care are some of the most meaningful exchanges I've experienced.

    Cons

Lack of consistency when setting expectations for employees.

    Advice to Management

Create an environment that doesn't support stacking "friends" in different levels of management.

    Pros

    Steady employment and competitive pay.

    Cons

There is a low ceiling. Seems only administration gets hired from within.

    Advice to Management

Be willing to hire employees from within instead of always looking outside. When you keep someone in the same position for so long, it starts to feel suffocating and leads to looking for a new job.
