I have been working at Texas Rangers part-time (less than an year)

    Pros

flexible schedule, friendly people, long breaks(2nd or 3rd inning to 7th) field level view, you see players and it's very fun!

    Cons

a select few people are rude, it gets very hot outside and that could be a problem if you hate the outdoors.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

more tents outside would be great

I have been working at Texas Rangers part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

You work with great people and the full time staff is extremely easy to work with and for. They were very flexible if you had to take time off as well as treat employees and customers extremely well.

    Cons

Occasionally their would be night camps which would involve you working from like 5 to 9 at night. For the majority of the time though it was great hours just some occasional long shifts and night hours.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I would say overall continue doing what you are doing. I was very pleased with working there and wish I could work there again this summer.

I have been working at Texas Rangers part-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Everyone you work with is extremely nice, and helpful. I enjoy going to work. To me its not a job because I have fun. You get free tickets as well, and you get to pick when you want to work. They work with your schedule, because most people have another full time job.

    Cons

In the summer its really hot outside, but they give you plenty of water and they check up on you to see how your doing.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get to know your employees, build relationships with everyone no matter what their title is.

I have been working at Texas Rangers part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

4 free tickets a month, and you get paid to hang out at the stadium

    Cons

didn't really have any cons, i guess if you hate baseball you wouldn't like it

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

maybe throw in a few food vouchers to go along with the tickets for the employees who are working at incredibly low wages

I have been working at Texas Rangers

    Pros

Pretty good pay, and you don't have to work every day. It's a seasonal job. So overall, it's a great first job.

    Cons

Long hours, up to 10 or 12, starting at 4:00 in the afternoon. You are always busy, so there is no down time.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

They need to get more organized. There is definetely gaps in organization, and that tends to be a proble, and leads to miscommunication and communication errors.

I have been working at Texas Rangers

    Pros

Tickets to games and insurance were the only pros the job was nothing like the job description that was posted.

    Cons

It wasn't even enough to live off of and it was full time it was a resume builder for me so I took the job but only stayed a year because the pay was so low

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I think the change in ownership may have made a difference, the team was great this past season so sales would have been better than when I was there for sure.
