Great company for part time high school/college work

Dishwasher (Former Employee)
State College, PA

I worked at Texas Roadhouse part-time for less than a year

Prospeople were easy to get along with, schedule flexibility. I worked in the kitchen so I usually closed, which meant I got to take the extra food home

ConsWorking in the kitchen during busy hours was kinda hectic but you learn to get through it. Other than that nothing really.

Advice to Senior Managementnone, I had great managers. Respect them and they'll respect and treat you well.

Interesting

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

I worked at Texas Roadhouse part-time

Prosnice environment with flexible hours. the management is good at giving time off when you ask for it. As long as you give enough notice

ConsAverage, very cliquey good sections are given to those who are friends with the boss... the place need new tables, chairs and the restroom need more cleaning.

laid back atmosphere.

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

I have been working at Texas Roadhouse

ProsFlexible scheduling, awesome managing staff. If you do your work, you're good. Nobody busts your ass for no reason. Casual attire. Cool atmosphere.

ConsIt's a steakhouse. So when it's open Saturdays and Sunday for lunch, you can expect to get stiffed sometimes because people don't expect to pay $50 for their lunch for two.

Advice to Senior ManagementHave more opportunity for growth for everyone.
