I have been working at The Children's Place

    Pros

Lots of paid time off each year but it doesnt roll over to the next year. Employee discount is 30% off but most coupons will get any guest same amount.

    Cons

No payroll allocated for stock, pricing, and our visual moves. DM micro manages each store daily. Deadlines for visual unobtainable due to constant updates and late items and documents.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Instead of cutting payroll and supply budget try not fattening your own pockets.

    Pros

    The pay, and that's it.

    Cons

Salaried managers are expected to put in 60+ hours a week. They do not care about customer experience, only that the store looks good.

I have been working at The Children's Place

    Pros

Semi flexible hours, Good Discount, coworkers are nice enough probably because they are going through it too.

    Cons

Long shifts, and be prepared to stay 1 to 2 sometimes more after closing. Crazy and annoying.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Quit lying. If you are going to disobey your own schedule and keep us for obnoxious amounts of time, then say so. Don't hide it.

I have been working at The Children's Place part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Very flexible, many opportunities grow, great management ( or maybe I've just been lucky)

    Cons

Not many hours for a sales associate and the pay is not the best. Strive to move up and this will change. Corporate tends demand too much and it doesn't take much consideration in other factors a store faces when they set tight deadlines.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

For management store level keep doing what you are doing. For management at the corporate level, take into inconsideration what a store will face daily when setting high expectations to meet at specific deadlines and understand you have very passionate people so harness that.

    Positive Outlook
