    Pros

There are none................even the discount sucks compared to what the customer gets

    Cons

Low pay, heavy work load with minimal coverage and hours, horrible upper management, very high shrink due to these factors, very cliquey.

    Advice to Management

None. From the CEO down to the district managers are all jokes

    Pros

Hard work does get you promotions. You can become part of management without having a bachelors degree which is good for College Students.

    Cons

The pay is HORRIBLE! While this is the perfect job for a college student looking for experience and some textbook money. It is NOT the perfect job for a college student with rent and bills to pay.

    Pros

ALWAYS BUSY Be it new floorsets, hardmrks, helping customers, processing shipment. Easy to move up due to high turnover

    Cons

Little hours...at least at my store bc its really small, I feel pay is ridiciuosly low for sales associates, the dress code is bizarre we are always having to ise ladders l, step stools etc but cant wear tennis shoes?? Crazy accidents are bound to happen

    Advice to Management

Asvice to CORPORATE! STOP having us come off so annoying and pushy at the cashwrap. The rewards program is understandable but the place credit cards and survey blabber gets us rused, eyes rolled ar us and sometimes ppl are just like forget it and walk away from the whole transaction. Seriously

    Pros

Like most places I've worked I really enjoyed my team. I enjoyed interacting with children. Now that my current place of work has terrible benefits, I really miss and appreciate the benefits I had with TCP, especially my sick time and vacation!!

    Cons

The worst part of my job at TCP was having to deal with shop lifters. I felt the companies expectations in how we worked with the customers was too overwhelming for associates and customer. Any time I went through the procedures of what we were expected to do or say to the customers, I felt the customers thought I was annoying. I felt I was being annoying. No wants to be bothered, forced to take a shopping bag, or asked 20 questions when they shop. Working nights, weekends and holidays. Pay was on the lower side.

    Advice to Management

Don't push so hard with mesh bags, credit cards and emails. Make TCP less stressful and more enjoyable for associates and customers. Allow associates to be personable with customers by not making them become an annoyance to the customer.

    Pros

Nothing good to say about this company except for my New Boss Rachel Mitchell she is great

    Cons

By far the most horrible job I have ever had..if corporate wasn't so greedy and compensated their employees or even gave the payroll to get their demands completed they would most likely be a good company to work for however they do not pay or respect their employees ever and also take advantage of them I was an assistant manager for 3 years and 2 of the years I was expected to fill the shoes of a store manager with out any compensation I made 11.30 a hour and had to do everything... The only reason I stayed was on the behalf of my 2 children and I couldn't get another job. When I confronted my district manager she told me if I was so unhappy to find another job and she was a true worthless individual....thank god I got out of there

    Advice to Management

Fire whoever is in charge of marketing they are who is wasting money

    Pros

The team work and environment are excellent, you learn so much during the time that you work.

    Advice to Management

They can appreciate more what their employees are doing.
