    Pros

If you are a hard worker, you do get recognized by the higher ups. There is also a great chance of moving up pretty quick in the company.

    Cons

It has been shown to me, that if you are a brown-noser you get away with murder in this company. Store managers feel like they aren't required to do actual work. There is non-stop drama. The turn-over rate is ridiculous; most associates don't stay longer than a few months. In the year and a half that i have been there we've had 2 different store managers, 3 assistant managers, and 5 store leads. you most likely wont be properly trained; if you are actually trained at all.

    Advice to Management

Training needs to be done extensively, with all levels. (Just read my con list ^)

    Pros

Management was great and it was easy to switch a scheduled work day if something came up. Great part time job for those who are just looking to make some side money. Busy work environment for those who like it

    Cons

A lot of work for the nearly minimum wage pay. Corporate management really uses you up to do anything and everything.

    Pros

    Great people to work with.

    Cons

Poor salary. Poor work life balance. Not enough staff or hours to complete tasks. Open district manager positions went to external candidates.

    Advice to Management

Look to hire internally before going for an external candidates. Put yourself in management shoes knowing tasks are unrealistic with the amount of hours given.

    Pros

Young staff, fun to work with. Pretty good discount, 30% off of everything including clearance. No other benefits besides that.

    Cons

Boring, horribly simple work. Customers require little to no assistance. Corporate only cares about their bottom line, no room for advancement. Part time employees are required to have at least 2 on call shifts each week which seriously limits them from being able to hold a second job (which they must considering they are paid poverty wages and given a minimal amount of hours). Summary: Apply here if you are a high school student looking for some extra cash but don't expect to benefit from a job here in any other way.

    Advice to Management

Be willing to hire full-timers instead of a bunch of young part-timers and you might actually get employees who care about the business and whether or not they make their sales plan.

    Pros

The PTO, but it's sad to have a job where all you do is count down until your next day off.

    Cons

The people. If you have manners, a soul, our any integrity you will not succeed in this office. You will be eaten alive.

    Advice to Management

Grow teams and create an environment that will help people thrive.

    Pros

The benefits and time off is good

    Cons

Too much restructuring going on. There are always changes in the departments and it's never stable. They don't have a sense of appreciation for the hard work we put in. They praise those that do less but are great at playing teachers pet.

    Advice to Management

Need to learn how to appreciate the people. The process of training and promoting is not thought out thoroughly.

    Pros

Typical "Mom" shoppers that you get to know. Fun clothes to merchandise in an attractive way. Upbeat music and atmosphere on the surface.

    Cons

Extremely physically intense workload without a sufficient allocation of payroll hours. Total lack of effective communication both internally and externally at every level. No concern nor support for store level employees at any level. Absolutely NO emphasis on customer service or effective staff training. You are pretty much on your own. No sales or customer service experience is necessary. As long as you can just be a cashier or stock person, it doesn't matter if you are good at outfitting, maintaining a good customer base and making it grow, or take an interest in what the customer needs, just be a robot and you will get respect.

    Advice to Management

Stop reacting as if you are in a constant emergency situation. Take an interest in how store line employees are growing their customer base. Do sales training. Train people to be sales generators, merchants, managers of a team. Teach diversity and people skills. And start from the top with that. Encourage Corporate to work FOR the field and communicate with them, not TO them only.
