    Pros

I've been here for a while and recently the company started vision meetings, and a lot more interdepartmental meetings, which really encouraged me as an employee. I can feel that I am part of something big and I am glad to be here working together. Colleagues are great, and my boss is a really kind and humble young man. I can really see that this is a servant leadership and we are all working hard together to make this world a better place.

    Cons

Hope to see more perks. A lot of similar size media companies are offering better benefits.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work!

    Pros

People here are really nice and encouraging each other to carry out the Christian mission. It really matches with my vision so I am glad that I found this place and was hired.

    Cons

The company and leadership do hold a strong conservative value.

    Advice to Management

Filter out lazy people with stronger HR process even if they claim that they are good Christians

    Pros

CP is famous for good reason. The culture is positive and this really is a Christian company, which is great because as a programmer I meet lots of smart and dedicated people in CP.

Plus, the office is really nice, overlooking Ground Zero with good views of the WTC.
And also HR is flexible about hours and time off.

    Cons

Actually ther's no downsides at working in CP.

    Pros

Large office with picturesque views of the world trade center. Great location. Friendly colleagues. Exciting work opportunities. Company did a great job ending high turnover in 2012.

    Cons

This company is cheap cheap cheap! Makes huge profits but shamelessly takes advantage of loyal, hard-working Christians who are overworked and underpaid. Embarrassingly low salary, abysmal benefits package, no 401k. Managers are notoriously incompetent and use faith to manipulate trusting employees. They are constantly shifting accountability and instead of solving problems they create them. No structure. No transparency. Getting paid late or less is not uncommon. Ever-changing method of pay, used to be direct deposit but now they do wire or over the counter resulting in already cash-strapped employees incurring unconscionable bank fees. No pay stubs. Empty promises and false hope make for an unpleasant work environment. I predict high turnover will return soon.

    Advice to Management

Greed is evil. Start valuing hard work through pay raises and end of year bonuses. Learn to be more open and honest.
