Pros
Company takes the initiative to help you succeed within their cooperation.
Cons
Not very job openings since people that are hired tend to stay.
Advice to Senior Management
Well, this company keeps evolving so people change; however, it's just part of life. And it benefits everyone that remains in the company. I would rather the company would employ more people in USA and less in other countries. Let's try and keep it in our Country so that our Country and succeed! They are a huge part of USA vision. Large companies that succeed because of the USA employees. And, I believe there are too many chiefs and not enough Indians.
Pros
It's a fortune 500 company with great benefits and excellent work ethic.
Cons
The are very formal in their business and very conservative. You have to fit in a specific mold to be happy there.
Pros
Reputation of brand. City located
Cons
Culture. Skill set and work ethic of employees has decreased over the years
Advice to Senior Management
Dig into how your employees treat each other and external vendors
Pros
Brands, great location in Atlanta, ability to travel with the Company and see the world. Focus on diversity hiring and retention.
Cons
Focus on diversity hiring and retention leads to keeping some people that would otherwise have been managed out.
Advice to Senior Management
More career development opportunities.
Pros
Great benefits
Wonderful people work at Coke
Brand known world wide
Cons
Poor Internal Recruitment / Advancement
Very unorganized
Feel targeted
Job security questionable
A lot of BS with the jobs
Advice to Senior Management
Hire internally/ promote advancement!! Eliminate the unnecessary BS, care about your employee more.
Pros
the work ambient, the prestige of the company, learning opportunities, the possibility to grow within the company, and the bond between company and employees
Cons
salary, the complexity to get information, being such a big company sometime the simpliest thing can get complicated, the need for internal tools
Advice to Senior Management
they need to foment a way for employees to develop faster and to encourage the development for new internal tools so information can travel easier
Pros
Great company history and a worldwide network of production plants.
Positively perceived image of the company by other people. Compensation is also adequate.
Cons
The thing about Coca Cola is that the distance of powers is very high making it harder to work your way up because you need to establish an above average performance in each level of powers first.
Pros
workind hard to do things the right way
Cons
bad recruitments that slow down everybody else
Advice to Senior Management
start recruiting good HR that will in turn be able to recruit good people
Pros
Learning and development culture. Great brands supported by world class marketing. Great opportunity to experience global practices at meetings attended by employees worldwide.
Cons
Lack of management talent. Those promoted to senior positions are too interested in pursuing their "next promotion" and as a result employee development suffers. Many in management are in functions outside their area of expertise.
Advice to Senior Management
Take back control of the business from the bottler. Hard to understand what happened - bottler acquired to secure "system alignment" with North American strategies. Result: New company (CCR) is now being run by the very people who were the root of the problem. ???
Pros
Relaxed environment and fun atmosphere..sometimes
Cons
No fun when you're a temp. employee
Advice to Senior Management
Hire permanent employees from Temp. staff
