Pros
It's truly global, communications and teams are spread around the world, our coverage is larger than NATO
Awesome people to work with
Cons
Candor is asked but not really encouraged.
Advice to Senior Management
Stop sugarcoating status and start encouraging candor with real actions.
Pros
The brand of course. It's been around since I was born. Stability. Strength and History are the best characteristics. and of Course the drink.
Cons
The company needs to be more competitive with their salaries. I'm not saying ridiculous amounts but enough that they won't look elsewhere. Also they need to stop over extending their workers as far as giving the work of 3 people to 1 person and expecting it to get done and without error. Not reasonable.
Advice to Senior Management
You really need to get hands on with an operations. . .work for about a week as the supervisor or worker ans see exactly some of the things your asking of your employees and go from their.
Pros
Diversely rich and filled with varying ideas, Coca Cola's legal department is the perfect place for emerging legal students to see if the corporate environment is right for them.
Cons
It is difficult to interview with the Coca Cola company. Moreover, it's even harder to find links to employment opportunities.
Pros
small fish in a big pond
great pay
everything you need is on campus (Atlanta)
Cons
slow to change
leadership (in my group) was unwilling to ask for or accept feedback from "drones"
benefits no longer better than other similar-sized companies
Pros
Salary, Bonus, Many of the people, Brands
Cons
Management does not value the people in the organization. People are disposable. Advancement and retention is based on who you know not performance. No accountability evident in operation of the business
Advice to Senior Management
Start over. Significant rework around accountability in evaluating who will move the company forward. Not likely to happen until a significant outside group of management takes over.
Pros
Opportunity to work with several of the top brands in the entire word and best distribution and route to market structure.
Cons
Not a 360 business approach as every person is in charge of very specializad activities and responsabilities. Decition is not 100% of the company (bottler system)
Advice to Senior Management
More support to the franchise units operations. Too big structures in business units in comparisson to structure in local franchise units.
Pros
Company recognititon-great on resume for future reference
Cons
Large company, competition is fierce
Advice to Senior Management
Be more transparent
Pros
Coca-Cola Company has a great reputation.
It's a truly global company - you work with people from all over the world.
Great people
Excellent salary and benefits
Cons
Company politics are over the top. Coke is a "relationship" company - not a process-focused company which can make it difficult to get things done if you don't know people.
Pros
Top notch and passionate employees
As a finance associate I was treated as a key part of the team
Cons
Limite upward mobility
Interview selection process is a joke. There are race quotas in place.
It's scary to work in a NA business that is not growing
Advice to Senior Management
Move people around more often
Stop promoting on race. They have gone from one extreme to the other.
Pros
benefits, pay, perks, cafe & cleaners on site
Cons
long hours
expectation to handle everything
mistakes are not tolerated
Advice to Senior Management
remove upper management, be true to your word of happiness - for employees
