The Crow's Nest Restaurant Reviews
Pros – Good money, beautiful "office", respect from management, easy to get time off
Cons – Have to tip out a very large percentage of server tips, including tipping the kitchen where the Crows nest should pay their cooks more and not rely on servers to. Being made to stand around when your section has not gotten any tables all day just so the management can feel safe should there be a sudden rush.
Advice to Senior Management – Promote more from within. I have seen many deserving employees get turned down to their request for advancement.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
Pros – The management was great here and the employees were all nice and friendly
Cons – This place draws a lot of out of town customers that are sometimes hard to work with
Advice to Senior Management – Don't need to be so cut throat a little communication goes a long way
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company
Pros – Busier than most Santa Cruz restaurants. Long history continues to draw customers.
Cons – Draws a pretty cheap class of customer, especially tourists. Menu is overpriced. Management never really supports the staff in any type of conflict. Customer id always right to their face, and should be, but servers and bussers have been fired for issues that were obviously not the employee's fault.
