    Pros

A very collaborative environment. There are a lot of very smart people who work there. They are continually looking for new ways to improve processes and become that much more valuable to their clients. They take care of their employees and foster learning and growth. Their tagline of We'll Be There holds true!

    Cons

There seems to be some great people in mid-to-senior level positions who should be elevated into more senior positions. They have the potential to really make a difference!

    Advice to Management

Continuing to expand your book and grow into other areas seems like a smart move. There are some long-term senior managers who are really smart, do a great job and you should look to in helping to drive the direction of the company. They could be key to future growth!

    Pros

Great location and talented workforce. Managers are very encouraging and cooperative. Has a small workforce in IT and get a lot to learn.

    Cons

Most of the employees are managers.

    Pros

Building is nice and the area is nice. The younger hires are very pleasant employees, but they leave the before you get to know them.

    Cons

    1) Highly disorganized and chaotic. It's like they don't know what to do next or what they are doing now. 2) Management yell at lower ranking employees. There is absolutely no excuse for that type of behavior. 3) They try to hire smart graduates, but the smart graduates don't stay very long. This is also true for bright experience people they hire. 4) Below average pay for highly qualified workers.

    Advice to Management

Organize; pay your smart employees more; RESPECT your employees; and figure out where you want to take your firm.

    Pros

Its a small company, ability to to try different roles, good location, nice offices, people are fairly nice, good benefits, good insurance training program

    Cons

Have you ever heard the saying the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. This saying is so true for this company, but its even worse. The right hand doesn't know what the left is doing and the left foot is trying to act as the left hand and the brains are in another body! I joined this company because I heard commercial real estate insurance was the place to be, I figured this would be a good company to see how I liked it. This company has so many failed projects, nothing is ever done to completion, most people have only worked at this company so they have no idea what else the world holds and what its like to really work at a big company. Most colleagues are friends first before being colleagues.

    Advice to Management

All management should be held to the same accountability, there are several SVP's there most of them are great managers, but there are a few who are terrible managers. The SVP's that are terrible managers are left to be this way because they are very good friends with the president. The president should realize friendships are for outside of the work place and work needs to get done at work and everyone should be held to the same standard.
