ProsSmall, family-owned firm. Owner knows each person.

ProsIf you are a own your own business mentality type of person, then this is the place for you

ConsLack of communication
Cut throat environment
Lack of technology. They are still using a Dos base system.
Very closed minded and not willing to consider anything outside of the box
Micromanaging managers who don't let you do your job

Advice to Senior ManagementWe are not in the 80's anymore. It's time to think out of the box, upgrade technology, and enhance your business scope.

Pros-Professional office
-Higher than average (it seems) commission structure so there's definitely a sense that you can make a lot of money
-Can work from home if you needed to
-Autonomy- do what you need to do to get it done
-Well-known among it's clients for delivering quality
-Generally good people that mean well (some of the other groups gossip a lot sometimes)
-Diverse workforce (recent college grads to great grandfathers, race, educational background)

Cons-IT system is outdated, no social media or marketing strategy
-Lack of cross-selling between divisions (working on this but the "principals" are hindering this)
-No point on working on another team's order since the commission structure on that order is really bad (again they are working on this but not getting anywhere cause the "principals" are greedy)

Advice to Senior ManagementFrank's a good guy and genuinely works hard for himself and his employees. BUT he needs to replace the other "principals" who have been here for 10+ years who are NOT innovating or fostering employee growth. Getting an answer such as "because it's been done that way for a long time" is very infuriating. Keep working on cross-selling and making it easier for the divisions to work together
