    Pros

As other reviewers have stated - nice facilities, perks if you are in upper management or know someone...
    Car program is nice!

    Cons

Upper management turns a blind eye to issues they don't want to face. HR is a joke, don't go to them with a problem/issue, no confidentiality.
Values - for a company that thrives on their "values", need to look internally as those are thrown out the window.

    Advice to Management

Maybe upper management should look at management or lack of management in all areas of TFG including HR. They have always been the talk of the company with dysfunction and high turnover. Some of the business units have it together, learn from them.

    Pros

    -Great associates
-Beautiful facility, complete with Starbucks, café, gym, outdoor track, access to park/bike paths
-36.5 hour work week that is generally respected
-Car program (for those who qualify)
    -Competitive benefits
-Lots of little perks associated with affiliation with Toyota/Toyota Center (like ability to buy tickets to shows at Toyota Center well in advance, the occasional free Rockets ticket, etc.)
    -Good resources in organizational development/training

    Cons

-The company is privately held and is generally pretty secretive about things, so associates don't have a good understanding of why decisions are made
-The executive leadership is not very dynamic or outward-facing, and there doesn't seem to be a strategic vision for the organization.
-Since the company is a shared services organization, associates don't always feel ownership or involvement in the companies they support.
-Individual career development/advancement opportunities are severely lacking.
-The basis for compensation seems unclear, but seems to mostly be based on what people made before they came to the company. I think there are people in similar positions making very different amounts.

    Advice to Management

-Set a clear and defined vision for the company.
-Be more visible and engaged with all levels of associates.

    Pros

Vehicle Program-Qualified management personnel have the option of leasing a vehicle from the company.
    Amazing Campus
Remarkable Potential-An honest return to 'The Values" would reap rewards

    Cons

    Hyper-Political Environment, driven by leadership
Formerly a high integrity workplace. Rapid decline after FG.'s departure.
Executive management manipulates headcount and budget and siphons into personal bonus structure.

    Advice to Management

Carefully rethink those you've placed in the drivers' seats. Accountants have the propensity to disregard assets that don't fit neatly into a spreadsheet. You've lost the employee loyalty that once drove the company to greatness. Opportunities are being missed due to this toxic environment. Owner needs to get his hands dirty in the day to day to uncover the problems.

    Pros

Great Gym, On-site Starbucks, A few great people....

    Cons

Upper Management is a joke. The treatment of women is disgusting. The politics & lack of ethics is disgusting... They will do anything to hide things from the dealers... People that are scum will get promoted... Upper management twists things around to benefit themselves and elevate themselves....

    Advice to Management

Get Rid of everyone at the top except the one brilliant VP from up North....

    Pros

36.5 hour work week. But work demand is 45+hours.
    Great campus!
    Vehicle program, if you qualify!

    Cons

Extremely negative atmosphere. Upper management does NOT value staff. Senior management would do whatever it takes to protect their own jobs and advance their own careers. The owner is absent, clueless, and dismissive.

    Advice to Management

Find a morale compass! Operate the company with integrity! Value your employees!

    Pros

    - compensation is fairly competitive
    - 36.5 hour work week (when you can get away with it)
    - perks (vehicle program)

    Cons

    - Culture is extremely distrustful and many co-workers play politics, so you cannot be honest in your communication with others, lest you risk losing your job.
    - Senior leadership are by and large not truly qualified for the leadership aspect of their jobs/roles and have a top-down mentality. Any challenges to their ideas/ways of thinking are met with swift fallout instead of open discussion.
    - While open communication, honesty and integrity are preached from the top, the truth is that the organization is rife with backroom politics and lawyers run the show. Many conversations that are clearly inappropriate ie: how to let go an individual, are held face to face but carefully left out of email/voicemail messages to ensure there's nothing discoverable.

    Advice to Management

Interview the folks at the bottom instead of listening to the upper level folks who clearly have no interest in telling the truth. Dan Friedkin (the owner) needs to actually be involved in his company and take a close look at what his leaders are telling him.

    Pros

Beautiful campus, great gym, great product

    Cons

Sr. Management is a mess! They only care about themselves. They will turn things around on a dime to fit there needs. Honestly, they are not very smart for VPs. It's all political BS all the time and God forbid you don't drink the kool-aid.... If you speak your mind you will pay the consequences dearly.... They allow sr management to twist thingscand retaliate.... It's quite disgusting.... Some people get away with murder... Disrespecting others at all turns, and they are still there...

    Advice to Management

Get rid of 75% of your Sr. Management... With the exception of one VP they all are a disgrace to work for....

    Pros

The company really values its employees, and places a high value on ensuring that there is a strong balance between their work and family life. The facilities are amazing, the cafe has great food, there is onsite Starbucks, a fully stocked gym, and a beautiful "backyard" with stocked pond for fishing and walking, as well as basketball courts.

    Cons

The company is growing at a rapid clip, perhaps a little too rapid for a handful of associates, who long for the "good old days" and struggle with the company's need to turn a profit and ensure those of us who like working here can continue into the future.

    Advice to Management

Continue what you are doing. Don't change a thing!!
